  1. I saw the movie, had several free money passes from cereal boxes, and it was pretty good. It is nothing more then holleywood trying to make a few bucks, but I belive it was done pretty well. They could have made it very disrespectful and it could have been a disaster, but it was pulled off. I dont have time to watch the google video now but I really want to see what it involves for you to say "9/11 is an elaborate fraud"
  2. Yet another reason I wish I lived out west. No doubt it will be amazing.
  3. I like to hear a good mix but when it comes down to it, Matts slower are just unbeatable.
  4. I was not into Matt until the last few years so I don't really know just how big he was. He is definitly getting new fans as I have gotten many friends into his music. As people above said, alot of the hellotimebomers have gone away but he still has a large fan base even over here in Ontario.
  5. I loved Clone High so much but I prefered undergrads myself. I am soo pissed that they can cancelled both of them. I gotta pick this up!
  6. She said in her blog that its about how they can do anything they want together so ya its about her, the song was written after 2000 when they met.
  7. I have listened to it many times and its a tough call between "and that 40 year old man's" and "in that Ford of your old mans" I would say it is "in that Ford of your old mans" as it fits better into the song as he said sitting in the previous line. What do you others think?
  8. I have heard of few of them. matthew who?, hes such an ass, and then a few o ya they guy who did hello time bomb / alert status red.
  9. "and if the devil was a poet, I doubt that he would know it and I doubt that he could win your heart with simple words of flame like love is just a meaning of someone else's dreaming and Heather's like Sunday" From Heather's Like Sunday is breath taking.
  10. Thanks a million. Song is great. Matt is really got alot of great new stuff with. Can't Get Shot In The Back If You Don't Run Breath of a Nation Black Helicopter (wish he would play it on tour) She's in it for the Money When Hollywood Runs out of Indians and now this.
  11. Go to the lyrics part of this site and there is a pretty complete list. http://www.nearfantastica.com/lyrics/
  12. so many to choose "like a burning sky dropped to the ocean a bitter pill, is it better still" "Whatever keeps claim to us being civilized" "can you supersize ambition? Does that make you ambitious if you supersize ambition?" "The darkest side of the biggest God damn ride" Those are just a few
  13. You could pull off both if you got a pal to keep you a spot in the front. You could always smuggle beer in as well ;)
  14. I doubt there is one, I am just wondering and hoping. Hopefully someone bootleged the show.
  15. ^Very true^, only real fans will stand out to be able to get to the front. And then all the drunks have to buy beer which makes them lose their spots and they are stuck at the back.
  16. sockcrotch, I had a similar spot, I was just about 10 feet from you to the right. Great show, I had no complaints about people around me. Just glad i got to the front, where I could avoid the few assholes that did attend.
  17. Its gonna be tough for them to fit these shows being that he plays everyday till next monday, and then another few in a row. I sure hope matts up for it.
  18. Im having trouble remembering it. To be honest, when he started playing it and I didnt know the song I knew it was something new so i assumed it was shes in it for the money, but I was wrong. The chorus has him singing When Hollywood Runs Out Of Indians but other than that I cant recall. Its very much a protest song and I believe it deals with hollywood (oviously) and the minipulation that comes along with it. Its killing me that i cant remember this one part of the song which was a great line. Im hoping some one else remembers it or he plays it again.
  19. Matt played this in London yesterday and Ive never heard of it and I belive this is the first time hes played it on tour. Wondering if anybody knows anything about it or has a copy? Sounded great live.
  20. I realy hope matts ok. He didnt look too bad yesterday in london but he did say he was on meds. He was still in good spirits and it didnt effect his performance. This sucks for the people who had to drive to get to the show but matts health must come first. Its not looking good as he has like 15 shows in the next 20 days which would take alot out of you if you were at 100%. Hopefully he pulls out of it and is able to finish the tour as it is an amazing show.
  21. I thought the crowd was good. There were a few dum comments/requests but thats to be expected. Where abouts were u standing from matts view? I had no trouble hearing and had a great time. To add to the above setlist, he also played: ex-pats tripoli breath of a nation hopeless strange days SOAPS (with shes in it for the money to start) He played the intro to weapon as a joke which was great. I'd pay to see his half show anyday ;)
  22. Mcclelland has an amazing voice and Hurt was very well done. The show was amazing overall.
  23. I just got back from the London show and It was amazing. The crowd was good and matt was amazing. He was pulling off jokes throughout rhe show and all the songs were top notch. I really enjoyed hurt, thought it was one of the best of the night. Someone asked for WWWHR and he made it into a joke about doing a half song tour playing all the songs that can only partly be done acosuticly and he blade part of weapon which sounded amazing. I would have to say that it was the best show ive ever been to.
  24. I just got back from London'w show were he opened with Avalanche which was amazing so I went with that.
  25. Most of these bootlegs are too big to be sent by email.
