  1. I was thinking Symbolistic White Walls would sound cool acoustic.
  2. Well, facism isn't based around racial superiority. newspaper (I think the Toronto Sun) had to run apologies after it called a facist a nazi.
  3. C,E,F,A, looks like an Fmaj7 chord rearranged from F,A,C,E. The second one looks like a rearranged d-minor with a sharp 6. Honestly, I have no clue what the hell it actually is.
  4. NAFL, otherwise HTB. Hooray for acronyms.
  5. He's alright. I listened to about 5 of his songs, and they all sounded like the same song. It wasn't a bad song, but some variety would've been nice.
  6. Enjoy The Silence Born To Kill My Out Of Style Is Coming Back Agoraphobe Fall Of Man PTD (Rooms) The War Is Over IAWCC Blue Skies Over Bad Lands
  7. No. Ever killed a man?
  8. He's protesting the war in Iraq.
  9. I think it's the trolley song from Mr. Rogers.
  10. They'd probably know an opinion when they see it.
  11. Can't say I've really noticed it. Then again, it's been a long time since I've watched Spiderman 1 or 2. What's the strangest pizza you ever ate?
  12. I'd love to say I play the things you need, but unfortunately, I don't. I was going to take drums in band back in grade 7, but my mom said they weren't challenging enough and made me switch to trumpet.
  13. No. I never watch Survivor Do you enjoy reality tv?
  14. 1) Flashdance II 2) Rat Who Would Be King 3) Tripoli 4) If Birds Don't Fly Straight 5) Push 6) M Good v. M Trolley 7) Fine Art of Falling Apart 8) A Better Pain 9) Can't Explain
  15. Yes, I do. Hamlet or Macbeth?
  16. Comfortable Criminals is right around where I would put it.
  17. Pre, although I enjoy Ok Computer, too. Are you gellin'?
  18. There's also a couple other blues progressions as well, although the one Yam mentioned above is the one that most jazz students will learn first. (Chords on scale degree) I,IV,I,I,IV,IV,I,VI,-II,V,I/VI,-II/V. The last two measures both have two chords in them, and the -II means the minor chord. So, in the key of G, you'd have: G7,C7,G7,G7,C7,C7,G7,E7,-a7,D7,G7/E7,-a7/D7. The one/six/two/five turn-around is very common in jazz, and you'll see this form a lot in bebop tunes (Now's the Time, Billie's Bounce, Straight No Chaser, etc.) A minor blues pattern is only a little different from the first one. -I*4, -IV*2, -I*2, -II, -V, -I, -II/-V. The -II chords also have a flat five. In the key of g-, you'd have: -g7, -g7, -g7, -g7, -c7, -c7, -g7, -g7, -a7 b5, -d7, -g7, -a7 b5/-d7. I'm not sure how many other 12-bar patterns there are, these are just the ones I've played. [/band nerd] Don't mind me. I think to play microtonality on trumpet (this is the first place I've heard about it), you finger the valves only about half way? Holy snap.
  19. What kind of magic? Will I pull a rabbit out of my hat? Mine died while I was on vacation.
  20. Chutes Too Narrow was amazing. Next album should rock, too. I haven't heard much off their first album, but what I have heard has nothing on CTN.
  21. Checkers is for tramps!
