I've owned numerous copies of BM, because I kept ruining them. Every full moon in the year 2002 I would dress up in a black robe and Montreal Canadiens goalie mask and sacrifice my community's pets while conducting (yes, as in directing) orgies consisting of my family members on top of that particular album. Soon, enough blood and semen would accumulate on the CD and I would have to replace it for the next celebration. Top that, wierdos.

Is the purpose of NF $$ simply to ensure that the board remains active? Or is so much an identifier of how active we are individually that we merely need it as a bragging tool? I think that as the major Matthew Good site on the net, you have a resonably easier time finding stuff that we cannot. But to have to post and reply just for the sake of dloading some new stuff is ridiculous. Can you not get rid of the whole NF$$ system? Im positive that this board will remain active. I'm surprised so many ppl have so much of it, because I would be dloading most of the stuffavailable. Anyways, delete this or do what you like, it's just a question.

I find that after I listen to him for a while, I get sidetracked by the melodrama in his songs, and eventually that's all i can concentrate on. Not as a insult to him or anything, but it is sometimes too melodramatic. I hate it when that happens.

Yea! what the hell does it say when lined up? I noticed that, but I can never find the black one to finish off the saying. And speaking of rereleases, look at what they're doing with virtually all DVDs! Some get rereleased 4 or 5 times! fucking ridiculous.

Funny enough about you saying it induced an anxiety attack, because I must say most of my memories associated with the album are ones of loss and regret and all that other cliche-ish stuff. But it's true. What can I say, MG(B) has follwed me every step of the way, through lots of meaningful shit, and Audio of BEing came at a most unhappy time. Funny how people respond to some things. But now being so distanced from all the events of years past, I actually enjoy listening to the album to revisit the feeling now and again.

Ah...good ol' Audio of Being. At the time I bought the album, I listened to it nonstop,and there was so much stuff was going on in my life. Now everytime I listen to it, it just floods my head with nostalgic nonsense, lol. But still, it has some memorable tracks on it. And I've always found it ironic that 'Antipop' is the 'poppiest' song on the album.

lmao. You must have bought the album too late. Originally it came with a booklet of all the lyrics from all albums and EPs.

I know in the Pleasurable Headache booklet that came with Audio of Being album Matt wrote that there were differences between the lyrical content of that booklet and previously published lyrics in other albums' booklets. I'm wondering if anyone's found any, because I haven't.

I think he was using the same guitar that he used in the Hello Time Bomb video and Everything is Automatic vid.

It's been out for a couple years, and its video is about a band competition, and someone speaks latin at the beginning, introducing the bands. I need to know. ;)

I ordered Point counter Point, As I lay Dying by Faulkner, and The Wallflower one, but they couldn't ship it, lol. So maybe I'll happen upon it sooner or later.

Because I cannot remember, or never knew for that matter, I have to ask everyone what the whole Our Lady Peace vs. MGB thing was all about. I remember hearing of this controversy in the late 90s, but I never knew who said what or started it. And what are the most notable quotes, arguments?
