I didn't like Bright Eyes at first. His voice annoyed me and the sound quality was distracting. But after some time, I gave him another chance and started to really like him. He writes great lyrics in my opinion, some will call it Emo but I don't care. I listened to the new album about one and a half time, didn't really leave an impression on me. I need to listen to it more.

I never really liked No Doubt so I can't speak about them. And yeah, I agree that Bush were never original or invented anything new but they had good songs. But it's okay, we can agree to disagree

Christy, Gavin Rossdale and his wife may have lost it but he used to write pretty cool lyrics and he had/has a good voice.

I'm sorry, but they used to be my favorite band. And actually, it was a Bush fan that recommended me to check out Matthew Good.

I've known a few cute songs by them way before all of that Youtube thing. Get Over It and C-C-C-Cinamon Lips are pretty cute.
