  1. incredibly
  2. oh...really?
  3. I just saw this.... Idiot, the interpreters aren't deaf...they can't be as they need to hear the prof speak to translate to the deaf guy in our class. I meant to say how do deaf people flirt with their interpreters, if you couldn't gather that from the "your hands are otherwise engaged". Idiot. There are other ways to flirt, that don't involve your hands Ugh naive youngins Apparently no one has read my post above about the fact that every course is different for each person... Cheers.
  4. Ah...if life were fair...
  5. 4/10...it's been done

  7. I personally like the Cegep idea. I don't really know enough about this topic to contribute more than that, but I see the trend to Kirk (ugh I keep mispelling it Krik...)
  8. Can't say I've ever seen it...but it looks like a crazy movie, 40/10
  9. My inability to care...seems to be the only thing that comes to mind at the moment. EDIT: Oh and my weight, but I'm working on that.
  10. Ugh..you had to post something like that didn't you Kirk! That's only 4 packets of a about 4000 packets we had to look at already...we have only had 3 labs in that class. We get a few hours in a lab (mostly 2 hours, with the exception of one lab class) and we have to do the rest on our own time...typically at home unless the lab won't work here then we spend x-amount of time at school on our own time. But anyway that's not even on topic. I believe that some courses have their own complexities, where English has their multi-thousand word essays, and math may have some really complex problems to figure out. Personally in our course, Computer System Tech., we have to deal with really complex subjects of IPs and subnetting and VLSM. Most of you won't even know what those are unless you look them up on google.ca or something. It all depends on the persons perspective of the course and their understanding of the topics that determines the difficulty level of it all. Where Lauren finds English easier likely because of the fact that she likes English and understands it better than she would, lets say TCP/IP protocol or mathematical equations compared to Ecnarf who likely enjoys thinking logically and doing math problems and probably doesn't enjoy the topics of english and might not understand it as well as Lauren. In the case of me I'm more into problem solving and computer technology as opposed to math and english, so I find my program easier than the other two. Mind you I've always liked math and have never had a problem with it and english has never been a problem for me in the past but I would find those more difficult than dealing with computers. It is all based on our understanding and perception of the subject matter at hand, so to say that one program is more difficult than another is ignorant. Edit: this should almost be moved to the debate section...
  11. You should look at our course....out of 100 males there might be 1 female and that's not including our deaf guys interpreters (2 females...he knows how to pick'em)
  12. Not at 1am it isn't...lol. I'll read that post later on, got class here in about 20min Oh yea, I'm going to print of a few The Agitator papers here in the lab, on all printer so others will pick it up...ah free advertisement.
  13. Holy shit there's a lot of reading here...I only made it half way through. I'll personally be printing off the Agitator (looks like it's living up to its name eh?) and then reading it for some light reading at night, keep'em comin bud. You keep writing and I'll keep reading!!! Oh and you all can go suck a lemon, almost everyone I know takes care of themselves when it comes to college. Some of us want to do great in our Degrees and still be able to live life, hence the loans and not working part time while taking school. When you work during school that takes away time from studies and time from actually enjoying yourself while not under your parents rule. It's great to be on your own and being independant, I'm only 16K in the whole right now and that's 2.5 years of education...and I haven't worked during school...yet. I've worked my ass off during the summer, and sometimes it's NOT easy to find a job. In one summer I sent out hundereds (literally) of resumes (and they were great resumes) to jobs that I found, I walked almost every square foot of Barrie Ontario to find a job and ended up going to Brantford to live with my mom and work there. So it's not easy, but it can be done without working during your studies. On that note...I'm out. Cheers
  14. Ehhh 7/10
  15. Awwwww Muffin
  16. Hey man no worries, you usually say what I mean to say but with a more educated twist to it. lol. I usually agree with ya anyway
  17. I don't see why it's in, personally I'm fuckin sick of hearing about Iraq this, Iraq that....fuck it's war, it is no different than any other war that has ever happened in the history of humanity. People go to war and people die, and war is the most profitable business in the world.
  18. Why Should I Stop? Because YOU Said So? HaHaHaHa Loser Agreed. It's College, Live It Up
  19. I'm not sure how this is going to go, bare with me. I just posted on the Jack Layton topic and I've realized something about this War On Iraq business and the 9/11 attack 5 years ago. Why? I mean why are we still caring about this? This seems to be the only thing that matters at any point in time, what about the other things that are killing the people around the world. Disease, famine, other wars, and crime in general. Why aren't we talking about those, are they just taking a back seat to something that isn't even more important than all of these. A place I grew up near, Midland Ontario (north of Barrie), has a HIV infection rate of something in the rage of 1 in 5 people. I mean isn't things like this just as important? Disease kills mroe than the current Iraq War is killing right now? There are other worse warlords that are killing people in Africa and the world all over. Just thought I'd throw this out there....figure it'll get a good response.... Cheers and have a good debate.
  20. I'm probably going to get ragged for this post but I have to do it... Politics are shit and Politicians are even worse. Politics...ever wonder what the latin meaning of that is? Poli = Many Tics = Ticks See where I'm going with this? Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the 9/11 attack and all over all you hear is stuff about 9/11, personally I'm sick of it all. I think it's a nice touch that they spent 4 hours reading the names of people who died in the World Trade Centre buildings, but how come they don't do it for Sing Sing (pardon on spelling) tradgedy? or the Haloucost(sp?)? Or any other massive genocidal incidents in Africa? Going back to the topic, I've never liked Jack Layton, but then again I don't like politicians...they are only after their own interests not the interests of the people they represent. No I don't know shit about politics or anything involved in it, and no I don't follow what other people say, or the media says. This is a personal opinion. Also I tend not to post in these anymore as I get ravaged by Erik, who most definetly knows more and has more interest in these topics. Bravo bud, by the way you wanna let me know where I can pick up your paper from University? I think it'd be a good read and I'll pass it along to others. Cheers guys and have a good debate.
  21. Get Used To It
  22. You'll have something to do this weekend Lauren....HOUSE PARTY for the win! Should be some good times. As for things to do on the weekend, I definetly enjoy walking around the Byward Market here in Ottawa, I like the culture and atmosphere there. I usually don't do a whole lot on weekends lately but thats because of a lack of money.. ;) I need a job...but when we do have money around here we party hardy at the pubs and clubs around here, play billiards, and just have fun. perhaps we can go for hot chocolate when it gets all snowy out. and perhaps i'll wear my tye-dyed shirt. haha no i won't. it's a men's small so it's xxlarge on me. Ever had a White Hot Chocolate? They're really sugary and good, have to go for one sometime.
