Awesome show. I was up against the barricade about ten feet to Matt's right. Had lots of fun. The people around me were nice sans a lot of bitching about the Ladies and Gentlemen (whom I quite liked).

The Ladies And Gentlemen
Gallick replied to a topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
I actually just picked up the Ladies and Gentlemen CD after listening to it on my break (I work at a music store) and I really like it. It reminds me alot of the American Analog Set--it's excellent background music. How they play live is going to be a big part of their awesomeness; I'm looking forward to seeing them in Calgary when Matt and company roll around. -

Thanks a bunch for the unmixed Pony Boy, I quite like it.

Heh, he printed "CHRISTIAN T.V." in uppercase letters. Nice printing. I'll get a picture as soon as I have a chance.
-
Nope. That's his signature. I watched him personally sign a poster at one of the shows. Maybe he's simplified his signature in the recent years, but during the Avalanche tour I got his signature. I can post a picture of it (along with Christian T.V. and others) if you need.

Oh I'll be there all right.

It's pretty much going everywhere that sells music. Though I can't 110% confirm, my guess is going to be that it'll be available anywhere. I work at HMV and can say we have plenty of copies in on Tuesday of the deluxe version for 38.99 CDN.

North American for life is super mellow. It's the same structure and all, but Matt sings the chorus really low. Like really, really low--and it sounds really haunting. He does it on Prime Time Deliverance too, but he goes octave-crazy on that song, from high to low all over the place.
