I had to get the vaccine because I work in a major hospital and I deal with infection and crap all day. I had to get tested for different masks because sometimes I have to go to the ER to help with procedures and you never know what they have. We treat H1N1 just like all the other contagious stuff, just that it's so widespread we have to be even more cautious. We have full wards that are closed off just for isolations for this. It's pretty serious.

I agree. I think I've listened to a few tracks off of it, and I just can't listen to the rest. His voice is getting even more whiney than usual. I loved Absolution when it came out, but this album is crap.

A few parts made me chuckle, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Also, I Love You, Man. It was pretty funny. Made me smile.

I bought it. Watched a little bit of it then had to turn it off cuz people were coming over. I'll have to watch it from the start to finish. Anyway, the last movie I watched in the theatre was Couples Retreat. It had some funny moments. I was falling asleep though. I should stop going to movies because I end up falling asleep, or people piss me off by talking. someone was having a full blown conversation on their cell phone. Told them to shut up but they didn't do anything and then someone went and got someone to shut them up. But this seems to happen a lotwhen I go to the movies. But the movie had it's funny moments.

I went to a used record store and picked up: Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band ($8!!) White Album ($15, it's selling for $27 at HMV) and don't laugh, but it's really good: the New Moon soundtrack. It has Death Cab for Cutie, Muse, the Killers, and many other awesome bands.

To many options not enough time. I'd punch in the balls get them down than kick the shit out of them.

I kind of thought that A Silent Army In the Trees was about the gang violence that's happening in Vancouver, as well as home invasions.

I have Empty's Theme Park stuck in my head. God, what a great song!

I'm a big Pearl Jam fan but I just can't get into this album. I'll have to try it again. I got really bored with it really quick.

Love the album. My favourite tracks are A Silent Army In the Trees and Empty's Theme Park. Least favourite is Great Whales of the Sea. And like most complaints the drumming sucks. Oh well, life goes on. Still an awesome album and I think Empty's Theme Park is one of the best songs he has written.
