  1. I printed this blog post when it was first published and I still read it from time to time. It's really moving.
  2. She's Got a New Disguise.
  3. I was there yesterday (second row centre) and Matt was extremely nice during the meet and greet.
  4. I'm disappointed that I will probably never see Running for Home live. Ian Browne is even available to do back-up vocals.
  5. "Winner may claim his/her Prize in each of Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver." Toronto is not included but I hope I'm misinterpreting it.
  6. 5. Land of Talk ~ It's Okay 4. Trail of Dead ~ Clair de Lune 3. Trail of Dead ~ Caterwaul 2. Oasis/Noel Gallagher ~ Wonderwall 1. Matthew Good Band ~ Running for Home
  7. You Are Here.
  8. The backing band sounds pretty interesting.
  9. At least Truly Odd received plenty of stage time. ;)
  10. I didn't keep track, but the setlist (encores aside) may have been identical to Fredericton. From what I remember... First Encore: Giant Avalanche She's In It For The Money Everything Is Automatic Second Encore (Acoustic): Strange Days True Love Will Find You In The End
  11. Unless I missed it, there was no mention. Great show overall. Apparitions was played with the band as well.
  12. Likewise, I have two RCG tickets I need to sell as well.
  13. This guy's a workhorse.
  14. I was just listening to this song. It's still so hauntingly beautiful.
  15. He's stated in the past that he doesn't need the "validation".
  16. Simply electrifying. Except for the omission of Protest Song, he pretty much played everything I wanted to hear.
  17. As mentioned above, he'll probably sign to an indie label. On another note, he really needs to stop changing his site's favicon. ;/
  18. Looks like the term "here comes trouble" still applies.
  19. I guess the only constant with his site is change.
  20. Bought it for $10 CAD new and it's great. Little Motel and Parting of the Sensory are standouts. However it could end on a stronger note.
  21. Heard EIA and Apparitions on MuchMusic. Then saw the BM videos. But I wasn't into music at that time for some reason. Then I lost sight of his work until Weapon came out. Then I rediscovered him on file-sharing services, thank you Internet. Avalanche was his first that CD I bought, and then I nabbed the rest of his material. I wish I was more attentive during the days of his excellent videos, needless swearing, funny t-shirts and catchy singles, but I do seem to resonate with his recent work (both music and human rights).
  22. I think as Matt himself has said, you shouldn't really judge people based on a one or two minute encounter where they could be in a bad mood or something could be misinterpreted. Just sayin'. ;)
  23. Rosin's played in "Day Theory" but it's not surprising they're familiar with MGB's material considering Dave Genn co-wrote some of their songs and Hoggard has proclaimed Matt as his favourite artist and "Protest Song" as his favourite song.
  24. Here you are. If you need any amendments, I'd be happy to accommodate for them.
