  1. Joy Ryder - Wayne Shorter
  2. I was never really much of a Depeche Mode fan, and had no clue that they were the ones to origincally write/sing "Enjoy the Silence". So the first time I heard thier verson of it on the radio, it really freaked me out, cause I knew I'd never heard the song before, yet I knew all the Lyrics to it =P
  3. 14th Street - Rufus Wainwright
  4. Jesus was my Girl - David Usher
  5. I was practically raised watching Star Trek, but beyond that, I never much cared for "Space Adventure" shows (then there's Firefly, which is amazing, and everyone should see, but that's for another post I guess). That being said, when I heard they were make a new series of Battlestar Galactica, I just kinda cringed and ignored it, but eventually my brother forced me give it a shot, and this show blew me away. This second season, has really got me intriged, and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next. Especially with the President's storyline (and through assosication, Starbuck's journey). Are they really gonna kill her off in a matter of months (thier time). She's so amazing, and thet show would deffinatly lose something w/o her. Though on the plus side, there have been 3 episodes so far and it's only been like what 2, maybe 3 days? So theirs still prently of time =)
  6. Hillarious series, I love how hard it can make me laugh even after multiple viewings. Though I found the first season to deffinatly be stranger then the second
  7. It's not exactly a literary classic, but I recently finished reading a series of books by Greg Rucka (Keeper, Finder, Smoker, Shooting at Midnight, and Critical Space), and they're the funnest books I've ever read. Not "Haha" funny, but just really enjoyable. ;)
  8. Huzzah for 4 posts! ;)
  9. I'm a huge comic book fan and though I never really like FF very much, based obe what I've heard, I can;t wait to go see it!
  10. I got dragged to see this movie on opening day, and expected the movie to be absolute crap, "When machines go bad!!!" kinda thing. But I ended up enjoying it alot more then I expected. The "Evil" ship, named Eddy (What's a creapy ship with out a name like HAL =P), was only really the middle portion on the movie. They had other plots throughout the beginning, and end, which weren't all bad. Now don't get me wrong though. Just because it was better then garbage, doesn't make this a great movie, there were ton's of flaws, lots of important plots points they just kinda skimmed over to accomplish a "cool" scene later on in the film. The lead roles consist of your token black guy, who's sole purpose is comeidic relife, which doesn't bode well for him in the 2nd half of the movie, when they try to go for a more serious tone. Then you've got your white male "hero", who's destined to save the day in the end. And finnally your sexy, bookworm, female character, who falls madly in love with the hero. Anywho, if you're really desprate to go see something, this movie probably won't dissapoint, but if you go into this movie expecting gold...enter at you're own risk.
