Yes, I do know that. But that's not the case. Anyhow, let's both just carry on with our day mhmm?

Well, I certainly can say I write music, play drums, guitar, bass, violin, trombone, piano, and I certainly know that I can say something and know what I'm talking about in most cases. If you'd like to take it further, I can even show you some of my tunes, and I can most certainly say I have never received any negative feedback, and at the most, just some simple constructive critisism. But since we're all mature here, we don't have to fight about it right? But please, if you don't know anything about the instruments you speak of, then don't suggest that Matt should try and write his songs in any shape or form that you speak of, because clearly, he has been in the business for 10 years now. I don't really think you're in the position to suggest how he should write his songs. Thanks. Please be mature about it.

Hey ham ahoy, you should probably stop spamming the hell out of this board right about now. Clearly you have alterior motives, when your last 12 replies have been "wtf is this, oh yes, i agree, mhm lol, yeah that sounds right".
-
Umm maybe you should shut your mouth about how someone should write songs, when you probably don't know what a "creative approach" to writing songs is.
-
Fools, bass bland? Honestly, you write it on bass, then add in other parts to make it more interesting. Like he has said, in the past he has used guitar and piano to write records, and he didn't just use guitar and piano, there are other instruments as well. Bass is just another instrument to channel his ideas through, and write music with a more interesting approach.

YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU'RE ALL WRONG, I'M RIGHT! GRAVITY WAS THEIR BEST SO EVERYONE SHUTUP!! -
Yeah, I don't know, and I don't know about the whole "do it while the worlds awake" business.

Lullaby was originally acoustic, or something like that. Universal was going put it as a b-side, but Matt really wanted it on the record so he added a lot of new stuff to it, to make it more record worthy. ^^ (That's what I remember him saying)

Yeah, I remember when they were so different. What happened ;)? Bob Rock? Money? *It tears me up inside* -
Man of Action would be awesome. Born to Kill, I miss new wave, Load me Up would actually be pretty cool, SOAPS, carmelina, and yeah I could go on. ;)

Favourite Line In A Matthew Good (band) Song

"And there's a fake part of me that comes off, so you can read I was made by the Taiwanese in Taiwan, but they don't like that much, cause it's called Formosa" -Workers "Here's a quarter for the phone, why don't you call someone and find out how it is we can all belong, to something that no one wants any part of, one day you'll wake up and they'll be advertising on police cars." -AOPC "I look in your eyes, you look for some teetch, like nickles at night, left under the sheets." - Fall of Man -
Yeah Radiohead cd's at HMV are so rediculously expensive. You won't be able to find a single album of theirs for under 20$. :/

Heh, that's interesting.

I'm pissed off cause there are so many songs that are better than Suburbia. I don't get the deal with Suburbia, why does everyone think its so great? I'd take so many songs over Suburbia. Anyhow, Avalanche and WWWHR. Edit: oh and Stooge, are you sure that's what it's about? If matt ever said anything about it, could you explain what he really ment about each part of the song? I've never known exactly what that song was about. :S
-
Yeah, I'm not sure about AoB selling more than Avalanche though. I read on some record site that AoB went gold only about 2 months before Avalanche did, and Avalanche had only been out for a couple of months. So I'm not sure about that. :S

As in, have their input? Or write a complete song for him?

The Arcade Fire

Listen to it a few times. It's awesome. ;) -
So what's all this about being pressured into writing songs? And about ASR being one of his original songs? Does this mean that not all of his songs are written by him, or original? And Universal pressures him to write songs? I'm confused. :S

-Ibanez DE7 (pure sex...wow I love it) -A wallet -Socks -Clothes -Some other guitar accessories

Are you serious? I liked the cover of Load me Up better than the original. I don't know, we all have our own opinions right?
-
Interestingly enough, I had an imaginary friend named Brett Bretterson. It's funny though, I think I just had him for the sake of having an imaginary friend. I think it was just a matter of having one, so I could say I had one to fit in. ;)

That would be cool if he released another thing like Loser Anthems, Lo-Fi, or Raygun and the lot. And if it was limited, I'd be able to get it, and wave it in people's faces 5 years from then. I would feel special. ^^

I actually liked it quite a bit, except for that ear piercing symbol. : / Oh well, I liked every bit of it except that. 'Twas cool.

Black Helicopter (demo)- Merry Xmas Everyone

If the new album is going to sound like this, (or even better) I don't think I'll be able to contain myself while counting down the days till it comes out. ;)
