It has come to my attention that many of you have some good and rare Matt good MP3's, I would like to find a way to have some of these MP3's because I love Matt. Please help me.

Some other people that were going to the same concert as me, it was a 3 day festival and I only had a daypass for Sunday, so I met them at the beach and they snuch me into the campground and let me sleep in their car. by the way, the presentation one is great too

I slept in the back of a strangers car, spent the entier next day outside in the sun with no sunblock, food or water, then I almost blacked out twice while he was on stage and colapsed after he left the stage. Gotta love severe exhaustion and dehydration.

we could always start a petition and send it to Matt. Our DVD petition. my what geeks we would all be.

I'd want all the videos, concert footage, interviews, Matt just ranting, his little schpeil on the America's Army game and anything else Matt related.

30 Seconds to Mars

I was one of the 6 people to actually go out and purchase their self titled CD, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Jared should stick to acting. -
What the hell is this "the Hub" that I see you people talking about? I have no knowledge at all of it and that bothers me. Especially if there are Matt Good remixes there.

Seing Matts wife gives me home that I might one day land a hot chick. Thank you Matt, you've helped me again.

Hold up for a second, there is a huge difference between APC and Tool. I'm just too tired to explain myself right now. p.s.- I love APC, best concert I've ever been to.

Favorite Female Solo Artist?
Hyphnip replied to .jeffrey.'s topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Sarah McLachlan Holly McNarland Bjork Esthero I guess that about covers it. For an explination, listen to about 5 songs by each of them and enjoy, then you'll understand. -
I'm not telling.

I like Starship Tropers, it was good. I'm kinda ashamed to admit I liked Ever After, and Master Of Disguise.

I don't know if anyone has hear dof this show, it really is quite amazing though. Two friends (Kenny & Spenny) have weekly competitions against each other, like who is better looking, who is the better actor etc. they bring in judges to give the final verdict and the loser has to do a humilliation of the winners chosing. last night for example, Kenny had to be Spenny's dog and go for a walk with a bone in his mouth through the park. This show is great. If you want to check it out, it airs Saturday nights after the football game on CBC. http://www.cbc.ca/kennyvsspenny/

The Rat Who Would Be King The Man From Harold Wood (I wish it was longer) Those are two amazing songs that not many people praise, oh, and The WAr Is Over and Fearless.
-
I can't believe you've never heard "Into Your Hideout" Or "Melt Into The Walls" They're the closest thing to Radiohead that I'll ever get the chance to see live... if they come here.
-
I know that The Dears did for sure, they are pretty good live. And if you want to get technical, Last year (on his B-day) Matt headlined the Grand Rock Music Festival here in Manitoba so everyone that played before him that day kinda opened for him.

Which Instrument?
Hyphnip replied to Dan #1's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Piano, it amazes me the peaceful sound of it. I can't help but like a song if there is well played piano in it (even long way down, very simple piano, but it suits it. -
song guessing game

The song is "Bigger, Stronger" and it's by Coldplay Quote This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality. Embrace this moment. Remember. We are eternal. All this pain is an illusion. -
I really enjoy Pilate and would like to see them. I also need to get their CD. I'm kinda disappointed that I never got to see them open for Matt and I just had TheDears (which I'm still not really that disappointed about, I just like Pilate better)

IT was amazing, i think you mightve missed the end of my first post because I accidentally submitted it before I was done and had to edit it to include the end. by the way, ther ewas an alright sized crowd for a concert that only cost $7.50.

WEll, I woke up at 4:45 in the AM so that I could get to work (I work at Burger King for all of you who don't know) and I spent 3 hours there (from 6-9) unloading the delivery truck. then I had a break, had a few smokes... I was pretty bored at work, but I was excited because at 2, when I was off, Jocelyne (a good friend) was supposed to come pick me up. But she didn't, so I called home and my brother informed me that she had called the day before and she couldn't get me from work, but she'd be at my place around 4. So I headed home. She got to my house at 5 (are women EVER on time??? not being sexist, just wondering) and I was really tired, but I couldn't sleep, we had to drive all the way across the city. Why you ask? To go to the Summer Vortex 2004. this is a mini fair with rides and bands and stuff, usually nothing special. This year though, i would've crawled to get there. at 8:30 Matthew Good hit the stage. Now I'm not entirely sure of the order he played the songs in this hour and a half set, but I do know what songs he played so I'll just list them: WLRRR: Put Out Your Lights Poor Mans Grey Empty Road Alert Status Red In Love With A Bad Idea North American For Life Blue Skies Over Bad Lands ;) It's been Awhile Since I was Your Man Avalanche: Weapon In A World Called... (Acoustic) There was more but suddenly, I can't think... I do know they played Hello Time Bomb, Apparations and Giant. Um... Load Me Up... I think thats it, I should write these things down. Anyway, this was my 4th time seing Matt Good live and my question to all of you is, how many times have you seen him?
-
I have to disagree with that, No one should cover NIN songs. As much as I LOVE Matt Good, I don't think anyone could top Trent REznors mastery of his own songs and any cover would just be sad... especially Cash's version of "Hurt". I'd just like to see Matt re-release some of his older sings, from before MGB was formed... and I'd like it if he'd re-release lo-fi b-sides and 15 hours (with the long title that I can't remember all of it)
-
I never even noticed that... I'm gonna have to listen to the song again.
-
Well, I'll have to say either "Avalanche" or While We Were Hunting Rabbits" and I'll have to give it a few more listens but "Blue Skies Over Bad Lands" is amazing. As for MGB... "Fearless" is great, although, so is pretty much everything else by MGB so I can't really choose there.
