Say Something About The Nfer Above You

has shown a sudden and significant drop in office productivity since he got involved in the rap thread. -
in all seriousness, though; 3 seconds is decent.

lauren: specifically speaking, you're right. however, life does exist outside college and the world doesn't adapt to you, but quite the opposite. on the topic if rising tuitions... operating a college is like operating any business. costs are directly related to in/de-flations. your tuition is minimally affected by having (non)operational elevators. dont sweat the small stuff. what you should be worried about is why the football teams get new uniforms and underarmour every season (places where there less a chance the 'business' claim the spending as necessity, for the sake of vanity/pride) don't bitch for the sake of bitching. it's small time, it insults your intelligence and it's not very becoming.

people who suffer from physical disability are are explained quite early on in conditioning/counselling (whether its mental or physical) that they have to compensate for their disability by providing themselves with more time to get from point a to point b. on a personal note, i try to avoid elevators whenever i can because i think standing around waiting for one is a complete waste of time and provides a great excuse to get a little blood flowing.

maintenance has to be done whether they are used heavily or not. they are there for convenience, no one should have to feel guilty using them, nor should they have to justify using them. if a disabled person rolls or hobbles into a restuarant and there are no seats available, it doesn't mean someone who was there first has to relocate or wait for a table. it's all about timing and/or courtesy.

i cant stand that shit either. talk about a false sense of self worth. the other day we were trolling a parking lot for a spot, and i see this woman walking away from an H2. the fucking thing had HUGE rims and shit, and was parked right up against the line. i stopped and rolled down my window and said "is that your giant hummer?" she responds all proudly with a "yes!!!" and i said "can you move it over so i can use that parking spot? thanks" and rolled up my window before she could respond. she moped back to the truck and proceeded to take about 2 minutes to straighten out her shitty parking job.

my comparative civilizations teacher in high school made over $80,000 a year. thats enough to rock a nice car, if your heart so desires.

eventually you will, and then you'll either appreciate my ways, or you'll be too rich to be concerned with something so insignificant as a ding or paint chip on your ride.

lets use the sales manager strategy from now on when reading chris' offerings: "for every bad post, we're that much closer to a good post."

the amount of handicapped spaces available is based on a ratio of total available spots. if there's 50 handicap spots, you must be parking in a rather large parking lot. i try to avoid parking close to any other cars in general, so if it means walking an extra 30 seconds to protect the paint on my car, so be it. i love how some of the newer parking lots have extra wide spaces, so you can open your door fully without compromise.

i just muttered "old people..." as i walked away. and what is it with dudes in hondas wanting to race v8 powered bmws? -
for a long period of time, i did just that. however, lately he's bee over exposing himself, so to speak... which makes it quite difficult to ignore. anyways, i don't have too huge a problem with the guy in all honesty. he's not nearly as unbearable as meg, or as jarrod USED to be. as a matter of fact, the last time i pm'd him, it was to tell him to keep posting here after he said he was leaving.

it all comes down to religion, guys... and that's why nothing will ever be fully accepted or fully efficient. osama ain't doing it for money or power.

we were at whole foods yesterday and my girlfriend picked something up. i give her a hard time because it seems like she always goes for the most expensive choice in whatever she's seeking out. this time was different. she picked something significantly cheaper and i said "uh, no way! nothing less than $10 goes in this cart!" as a joke. a woman standing beside us says "this is whole foods, you have to be prepared to pay a premium for higher quality.... and it IS less than $10... pffft" -
i agree with you on the death penalty being an easy way out. i also thing think that if they are going to hand out death as a penalty, it should be at least mildly painful... not a lethal drip of chemicals that quickly and efficiently shut down the body. send them into cardiac arrest or make them die of withdrawal from a controlled substance. put all the seized heroin from the local drug community into his system at an alarming pace, then cut him off cold turkey... THEN he'll come face to face with the devil.

exactly. people who insult their own intelligence are more annoying than genuinely stupid/annoying people.

i cracked a smile, but didn't produce a full, genuine laugh.

i take full credit for that. -
or when you notice that your porn collection is mysteriously diminishing.

i try to use it in vain, whenever possible. seriously though, my girlfriend swears frequently (most people in the film industry do) and we stopped swearing verbally since our son was born. now she's switched over to using 'jesus christ!', 'for god's sake!', and 'god damnit'... i'm not sure if it's any better.

cost-benefit analyses have unanimously shown that coupons don't save you money... which is why their overly available. -
my two male cousins, who were in their late teens and early twenties at the time, told me all details I needed to know... and probably a few more I didn't.
