...thats the good thing about blogs, you can sit in front of it all day long and think of something perferct to say, whereas you put the same guy in front of a camera and ask him a question and the only things getting him through it is the ego he's gotten from having a successful blog and whatever he read on the internet earlier that day. that's why writers seldom become tv personalities and vice-versa. everyone is intelligent when they've got every news outlet on the planet available to them by clicking a button.

i realized this morning that i was still registered in the vancouver central riding, so i had to go downtown this morning... i voted for svend. i would have voted pc if stockwell day was running the show, though... as a matter of fact i'd be a pc volunteer. that guy is awesome.

i'm sure if you offer to pay for matt and his band's work visas, find a promoter to pay his show rate and fulfill his technical rider and their travel and lodging needs, it wouldn't be too hard to convince him. the main reason why the east coast shows were cancelled were because of the outrageous expenses that go along with performing in a differnt country.

i went to a show for free at the coquitlam rec centre when geoff lloyd was the bassist. i believe matt once said that was the best show he ever played. the most i ever paid was $170 for two tickets to a sold out show at the commodore during the avalanche tour.
