  1. i'm an investment analyst. i basically tell people what to do with their money, i charge a brokerage fee to move the money and also a managment fee to do the actual work. the management fee is my income and the brokerage fee i use to take my own advice... so when it comes down it, i invest for free and make money every time.
  2. yeah, that's exactly my point.. it's an $80,000 station wagon with a nice engine. the cayenne starts at $60,000 and works itself to over $160,000 depending on the model. it is currently the most powerful SUV on the market, but the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 will take the top spot, and come in at $90,000 less. i might give that one some consideration if i can get my head around spending $1110 a month on a truck. last time i considered an suv, my personal preference ended up at either the oldmobile bravada or the bmw x5. update... i got a 2004 BMW 323i courtesy car now... fucking sexy.
  3. its my own company, so i really never do anything anyways, but the people that work there...
  4. i ate forsted mini wheats this morning. the first time i've eaten cereal this year. i love not going to work.
  5. i do that on a daily basis. my problem is that i eat too fast, so i get full fast, then 15-20 minutes after the food is gone, i'm hungry again.
  6. can't buy me love - michael buble. i fucking love it.
  7. i believe i owe someone $10,000. pipe up.
  8. i had every intention of going to see it on opening night. i aked everyone i knew if they wanted to go with me and everyone declined. i even told myself that i would go to the theatre myself (because i was intent on seeing this movie) so i left my office, went to the theatre, stood in line and realized how lame going to a movie by one's self is, and went home. i never got around to seeing it until christmas holidays when it magically appeared on my parents' coffee table. i don't remember the very end, because i fell asleep, but i think i enjoyed it.
  9. the SUV you speak of is called the cayenne. Nick is the proud owner of the new cayman s. its sits ranked proudly between the entry level boxter s and the 911. retails for $80,000 something. trust me, you don't want to work in my office, no one ever gets any work done.
  10. yeah, i thought that quote was in regards to tripoli.
  11. i myself haven't been this stoked to see a movie since the previews of mr. and mrs. smith. who's with me? who's against me? who's coming with me.... josie?
  12. "show me the money!" -that line has probably made me more cake than anything else i' ve ever said besides "trust me, i do this all the time".
  13. that was the last album i bought... not including michael buble's "it's time" and his self titled along with james blunt's "back to bedlam" which don't count as they were purchased purely as a seduction aide.
  14. i live in vancouver...the only time i get to see snow covered parking lots is when i go to the local mountains, and they're usually packed with cars. its the full traction in the rain i get off on. my car is in the 350-380 horsepower region at the wheels, and i can pretty much take anything when its even a little wet out. one of the guys that has an office the same building as mine has the new porsche cayman and i took him without a problem. he was pissed.
  15. i'm pretty sure it has, but i could be wrong. i know for a fact, however, that tripoli has never been played live.
  16. ...and its a full size sedan.
  17. the first cassette i ever bought was young mc.
  18. yeah but if they write it off, they have to pay me the value of it. my guess is that its cheaper to repair the interior and replace the audio stuff and rims. which is why she was all "well that changes things". they obviously didnt even realize the value of it... as for right now i have a 2002 acura 3.2TL courtesy car... this thing kicks ass.
  19. 3. i counted. is there decent plate at white spot?
  20. my icbc adjuster just called and told me that chances are they're going to write the car off. i said "you're going to write off a $55,000 car because the seats are ripped?" and she said "fifty-five grand?! well, that changes things." where the fuck do they find these people?
  21. the wtc was designed to withhold open flame for two hours. it did its job then gracefully fell into itself and not on to other buildings. it went down like a bad card table, like the tacoma narrows bridge.
  22. it has already hired a pretty good lawyer, some have already said it'll get off with just probation or something.
  23. ...i've spent the better part of the day trying to figure out how to burn it to a cd and play it on my big screen at home.
  24. yeah. i think they have a live feed at cfox.com
