Funny somewhat related story: After the MM shoot we went to Montreal. We were on tour with Mollies Revenge in the Export "A" bus and I remember Yvette gettin' mad at us 'cause we wouldn't go out and flyer with them. She actually said to me "You guy's aren't gonna get anywhere if you don't flyer!!!" ........uh.......yeah. True story.

I'm a total tech dope so once I get the tape if someone could help me post the damn thing please let me know. Kee-rist it's been over 10 years since I've seen it!!!

And when yer done with the "dummies" book pick up a guitar and learn some chords. Not "power" chords REAL chords. Like my fave E7#9 It's an E7 triad with a #9[which BTW is a m3rd]So theres a M3 in the bass and a m3rd on top. Cool huh?Foxy Lady!!!That's the chord. Oh,and on bass try an AM scale in 6th's up and down.Good fer string crossing. Shit maybe I'll start teachin' again.

I'm a pro,eh. ;) Chord progessions aren't hard ta' follow if ya know yer shit.There weren't any charts or tab or that B.S. Dave just said it was in ,like, Em or sumthin' and we played the song. Learn chord theory people...it's kinda worth it. "I don't need no theory, I play from the heart!!!" O.K. then yer gonna suck with alot of heart. You can learn by ear but if you don't know WHY yer playin' WHAT yer playin' then yer done.Cover band. Don't get me wrong, thousands of people have made careers out of "ear playin'" but if you're a side man like me...trust me it helps to know at least basic theory.You'll thank me when the singer say's "It goes like this[hits Em chord] this, this an' THIS!!!" Tune yer "E" string down to "D". The lowest note is an"Eb" at the 1rst fret.There's a little skippy thing from the "C" to the "Eb". If yer in Van P.M. me and I'll just show you the damn thing. Hope that helped.
