i think it would be very stupid for the government to impliment the law that you have to be 18 to graduate. i wont be 18 when i graduate. fuck them. also, people drop out for other reasons than just laziness or don't want to put up with it. i think it's important for the government to acknowledge that. ALSO there's clearly flaws in the education system if you have to scare people into staying at school for the expected time. perhaps that should start with fixing those.

it's irrelevant to compare a 16 year old to a 25 year old. 2 years doesn't make that much of a difference. most people by the age of 16 have taken a 'civics' course at school (at least you have to around here). but still at 16, no matter what, your opinion is still shaped by your parents. either you're liberal because they are, or green because they're conservative. so their reasoning isn't always in the right place. 18 has just as many ignorant, over confidence idiots to vote as 16 does. over all, i don't really think the age should change. it's not like that many 17 year olds are counting down the days to their 18th birthday so they can vote anyways.

i went to go get an energy drink last night, but they were all 2934723098472 dollars. i didnt eat or drink anything for over 24 hours. and when i woke up, i wasnt hungry but i was shaking a lot. so i had 2 cookies and some sprite. ;) i dont know why i just told you guys that, but i did.

one time i went to a show and in the middle of a song the lead singer kinda stops and backs away from the mic. the concerned band stop and make sure he's okay. he steps to the mic and says "i almost just died!" apparently, after drinking a red-bull before the show. and then all the activity he was doing caused his heart to have a hyper-reaction. and he almost died. true story
