I'd love Matt's music no matter HOW big he was! If anything, my impression of him as a person might differ a bit had he been one of those huge international successes. But come on man, that's just not who Matt is. When we think of Matt we're always going to think of him as that moderately popular musical marvel who rocked over Canada, but never achieved significantly fair fame on a world-scale.

I do remember there being a series of one-page poems. But I think the ones I'm thinking of are the Jack Pillowhead poems...

I havent been so deeply affected by BM since the very first night I listened to it. But over the years, there have been those unexpected moments where I'm suddenly taken back to those feelings. It's a great uplift when it happens ;) As for stories, I was once listening to A Boy and His Machine Gun in high school and I randomly slammed my head into a locker. By a strange coincidence I had been drinking vodka in Math the morning of the occurence. So who knows how it happened?...
