I am anti-radio. So I hardly know what crap is on it anymore. Sadly my tween nieces know, and it is recycled garbage.

I am 33. So out of the late 80s I grew up on glam metal (what was I thinking), and then grunge and alternative took over. I am stuck between the years 1991 - 1995.

I think music is better or the same as it was then. Shade is right use of the internet has lead to me a lot of the bands that I now listen too.

Review of Backspacer: The album opens and closes great, and has a nice power pop, punk vibe to it. I have never been able to listen to a full Pearl Jam album from start to finish like this since Vitalogy. Eddies vocals on some of the tracks are some of the best he has ever done. The End is the best closing song for the band since Release, Indifference, and Immortality from the 1st albums. Overall I rate the CD highly, and it sure to be one of the best of 2009.

Yeah they may be old, but still play 4 hour live shows.

I give it a 4, it does have a good sound, stripped down rock, which is what I am really into.

I am not in a better authority. Of course I don't do much at concerts, except chill and relax.
