  1. I would go and buy again: All of my Matt Good CDs All of my Sloan All of my Oasis Edit: And redownload the live concerts I had lost, esp my Oasis bootlegs.
  2. I like the Tea Party, then Bob Rock came in, and ruined the Tea Party.
  3. You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today. Abraham Lincoln
  4. I vote for the Wii. It makes gaming now so much more fun, with it be interactive and all.
  5. December-Collective Soul December promise you gave unto me December whispers of treachery December clouds are now covering me December songs no longer I sing
  6. Chris Cornell (temple of the dog, soundgarden days)
  7. My limted AOB was white
  8. Running For Home-The whole song, the lyrics are by far one of my favorites in any Matthew Good song. Avalanche-The line "I'm heir to it all." And the that little instrumental section after.
  9. Matt Mays-Time of Your Life One dark night walkin' home alone A strange woman came down to me Dressed in white and under a halo of golden light She said 'boy you've got it all wrong you've got to concentrate more on the party and song' I'll never forget the last thing she said She said 'have the time of your life 'til you're dead' Do you think you can be saved Or is it too late for you? With everything you have And everything that you do Now time will lock you away, Yeah and throw away the key But there ain't not a lock that can hold me Have the time of your life 'til your dead Die tryin' Matt Mays-Wicked Come Winter The northern lights in the skies at night The attention they demand
  10. U2-One Have you come here for forgiveness, Have you come to raise the dead Have you come here to play Jesus to the lepers in your head Did I ask too much, more than a lot You gave me nothing, now it's all I got. We're one, but we're not the same. Well, we hurt each other, then we do it again. Soundgarden-Burden In My Hand Close your eyes and bow your head I need a little sympathy Cause fear is strong and love's for everyone Who isn't me So kill your health and kill yourself And kill everything you love And if you live you can fall to pieces And suffer with my ghost
  11. All I have is Loser Anthems #26690, that I found at Sonic Boom yesterday in Toronto. Cost: $3.95 CAD
  12. Change of Season Load Me Up Giant Running For Home Alert Status Red Oh Be Joyful Advertising On Police Cars I, The Throw Away The Rat Who Would Be King Man of Action and finally Strange Days Appritions
  13. I remember ICQ, back in the day. It was all pimped out.
  14. I like the feel of Strange Days, and the lyrics just a little more. So thats what I voted for.
  15. My brothers and sisters grew up listening to 70s rock, or whatever, and I felt the need to distance my self from them. In 1996 I went to a bar here in Buffalo, to see a group called moe., they are a "jamband", but I feel its more based on the jazz fusion of Frank Zappa. Well I was hooked, long improv pieces, and everyone was so talented. That got me into the whole jamband scene, where I am still this day. I did like Phish alot, but the more bands I heard, I felt Phish was subpar. Try moe., and Umphrey's Mcgee, they don't dissapoint.
  16. Well now that he has a contract with WWE to do special promotions....I guess thats how he will live.
  17. I am suprised not to see Matt Mays on here, he has that country/gritty 70s feel to his singing. Matt Good (well duh!) Chris Martin Richard Ashcroft Keith Urban
  18. Gold and Rock and Roll are great albums. But I have found that seeing live is a great and wonderful thing. He just goes off and will just improvise his songs, to no end.
  19. I agree Bob Rock sucks, and ruined many great bands. Hope this doesn't happen with Das Hip
  20. George Bush is One Stupid Mofo.
  21. I tend to agree that AOB is better than Beautiful Midnight. AOB has some of my most favorite songs on it. Truffle Pigs, Tripoli, Advertising... Though Beatuiful Midnight closes like a good album should. Born to Kill and Running...is by far the best closing on a cd that I have. EDIT: Spelled Tripoli wrong the 1st time.
  22. Phish-Farmhouse and Billy Breathes. Being a jam band, and not having tested any new songs off Farmhouse on the road, proved that a great live band, can write one of the best jam band based studio albums. Billy Breathes-While most songs were tested on the road long before the studio version, it is a very strong album, with good rockers like Free, and soft sweet ballads like Billy Breathes.
  23. moe.-the ghost of ralph's mom (tgorm)
