Im getting tired of this superhero movie phase. The record against decent comic adaptations is pretty high. They should stop before ruining anymore comics.

I've been trying to find a decent site with up-to-date news on Matt Good. I was out of luck until I found this place, but that leaves me on alot of backnews to catch up on. The main thing bothering me has been about his band. So matt good solo originally comprised of: Matt Christian Rick Priske Pat Steward Now its: Matt Ryan Dahle Meegee Pat Steward Matt used to be an avid fan of Copyright I thought, and he recruited Christian as soon as Copyright broke up, as well Matt is good friends with Rich. How did these 2 end up leaving and getting replaced with Limblifter essentially? And are these new 2 members going to stay for awhile? I'm a fan of Ryan Dahle and love the addition, I was pretty excited when I heard that he and Matt were working on that JPH stuff, and on that note, did the site project of Jackpillowhead lead to Matt bringing Ryan into his band now?

I was in the center of the one at ACF friday, people got trampled, stepped on, sat on and hit, which is the definition of a moshpit. If its in good taste and not intentionally hurting anyone its ok. The punching can be cut out, and throwing of metal tools too. Aside from that, the moshpit was great.

Matt's always been music and politics, I don't see him releasing any sort of DVD unless there's a strong political stand in it.

not that I'm a fan, but Hoobastank. -
I think the movie is nearly 3 hours, they won't have it longer than that. The 4th book was the best in my opinion, so I hope they don't destroy it with the movie. Also, I can't to see the wyrd systers in the movie. Apparently theres 2 Radiohead members in the band for the movie, Johnny and someone else who I can't remember.

The budget wasnt that low. It recieved some good reviews, but just came out in theatres at a bad time and got pulled quite fast. The storyline is great, kinda complex though and may take a few viewings to piece the ending together, it was a little weird at times. I love the 1984 them throughout it though. Much better than the actualy movie of 1984, which was horrible.

I heard theres rumours that the guy cast to play Superman (yea getting off the spidey topic) might be gay. Theres speculation that the producer who is openly gay, cast someone who may come out of the closet during the opening for Superman to try and gain more publicity. He also believe that superman himself, emerging from the phonebooth with his second identity could be seen as a spokesman for gays. I think the guy who came up with this idea has too much time on his hands. I'll try and find the article online and post it later.

I just saw a preview for it. Before that I'd only heard stuff about it. I like how they didnt show anything to spoilerish in the preview, we'll have no idea what the aliens look like, if they show them.

They were selling out shows before an album was released. They were also in Rolling Stone in February I think. They're probably the most hyped band out of Canada right now. I just hope they can live up to it, they've had quite a rocky road to get where they are now. -
Im actually surprised there wasnt more.

Ive never heard the extended Under the Influence, is it available in the NF store?
