Everyone has 'em; What movies are your guilty pleasures?
-
Aw. I love 'Stand By Me'. RIP River Pheonix. :-(
-
"If all things go well, I'm gonna be showing her my "oh" face." "What's the "oh" face?" "OH OH OH!!!"
-
i like your use of grammar there...haha. uh, that's a tough one. it's a toss up between 'The Breakfast Club' and 'About A Boy'. i could watch either one over and over again.

bad songs by good bands...
Kumquat replied to parkerville's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
• country yard - the vines • pennyroyal tea - nirvana • anthem for the year 2000 -silverchair (not horrible, but i don't like it) • pay the man - the offspring *shudder* -
meeeeee yeow *hiss* romeo + juliet was fucking awesome. it put a modern twist on a classic. nothing wrong with a little contemporary flair. it helped more people understand and appreciate shakespeare's work. everyone has their own vision of things, and lurhman's (ah i probably spelled that wrong) was what the movie ended up to be. now both of you suck it up before i must beat you. viciously.

*sigh* keanu reeves still makes me sad.
-
i agree completely. "but look what i can do." *does one armed push-ups* -devil "what does that have to do with anything?" -kronk "wait, he has a point." -angel hahahahaha... an underrated movie that is one of my personal favourites is Billy Elliot. give it a chance, dammit. jamie bell is my hero.

Creed?
Kumquat replied to sweater_cool's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
jesus is their lead singer. no, not nick agon. -
i smell homoeroticism again. ah, the fate of mankind in the hands of keanu reeves. he can't go a sentence without saying "whoa" or jerking his head in the opposite direction in the attempt to look profound.

let's not dabble in such shenanigans. another good movie, in keeping with the nazi theme, is The Pianist. i thought it was going to be sort of boring, but it actually wasn't. adrian brody really deserved that oscar he got for it. needless to say, i was impressed.

contrary to popular belief, tom jones and matt good are not the same person.
