Mmmkay...time for some pharmacy edumacation: Codeine is made from morphine by converting the 3-OH group to a OCH3. This reduces the activity of morphine making it 15% less active and, therefore, less potent. Codeine IS one of the weakest narcotics. Not to say it isn't fun, I've had a blast on it. Addiction does not have anything to do with the potency of a drug. Somebody might chose to do a more potent drug, but that doesn't make it more addictive in itself.

Here I go: 1. I don't understand the whole "he's a musician, let's get it on" thing. It just seems kind of pathetic. 2. If I like a guy, he knows. I will tell him. If he laughs at me, he is a jack ass and not the type of guy I would want to be with at all. So, I don't think there is a problem putting yourself out there.

See, I'm trying to find some "nice" shoes to go with my dress pants that I am required to where for my pharmacy rotations. I pretty much own running shoes, brown boots for jeans (bought 5 years ago) and some chunky black boots (again, bought 3 years ago at Payless) that I wear with black dress pants. My friend took me to the Aldo outlet and I almost had a breakdown because everyone is all pretty and sophisticated and I felt very uneasy. Grrr.

Pretty much a question for the girls (but guys are also welcome). Have you ever been shoe shopping and felt like you don't belong with all the other girls? I mean, I have never been a "girlie girl" but I went shoe shopping the other day and i felt so foreign. All these girls were trying on these shoes and boots with heels and pointy toes and I can't really ever see those on my feet. I like something comfy and the pointy toe just looks too slutty if you ask me. Anyone else have shoe shopping issues?

Suburbia Prime Time Deliverance

I saw it last night. It was long but definitely worth it to sit through. Just make sure you are gonna be able to stay awake. It was powerful movie. The only thing I didn't understand about the flashbacks is where was Eric Bana's character getting these memories from? I just dealt with it but he wasn't there, right? So why would he have such vivid, PTSD-type flashbacks. That's pretty much my only criticism.

I'm intoxicated on bitterness right now. I hate the holiday season. blah I agree that Tylenol #3's are awesome. I took 2 one time when i had a massive migraine and I have never felt better in my life. I ended up having this Matt Good dream where we got to see him up close for an acoustic show and towards the end he gets up off of his stool and says that it's time to shoot some guns. He walks around to everyone and asks why he shouldn't kill them. My response was "I haven't spent my whole life suppressing the urge to kill myself to have you shoot me now". Then I woke up. I think I want to go home and get my Tylenol #3's.
