My friend sent me a cookiegram from California. It had bubble wrap protecting the cookie jar. That was fun.

My teacher pulled me aside today and told me I don't have to write my pharmacokinetics exam on Monday. I can make it up whenever I want. That's cool cuz I don't think this weekend is gonna go too well. I believe I am simultaneously experiencing the denial and anger stages of grief. Having to deal with life insurance assholes doesn't make it any easier. They will do ANYTHING not to pay you what you are owed. Assholes.

I couldn't deal with NBC. They would mostly only show events that had an American competitor. Obviously, CBC will be biased too but they seemed to show more events that perhaps didn't even have a Canadian competitor. I enjoy all sports and just watching them in general.

I watched alot because it passed the time in the waiting room while Mom was in the hospital.

I would like to hear Fearless and She's got a new disguise I would love to hear acoustic PTD again.

Thanks for all your well wishes. The funeral was today and it really wasn't as hard as I thought is would be. I know, I'm probably still in shock and it will hit me hard soon. Not looking forward to that. I just wanted to add something I hadn't originally posted. After we knew that it was just a matter of time, we decided on organ donation. Her heart went to a 52 year old man who if he didn't get her heart that day, he wouldn't have made it through the night. Also, her kidneys, pancreas and liver went to 3 other people. I sincerely urge you all to speak with your loved ones about any wishes about organ donation that you have. My mother was healthy and we never expected this to happen. It comes as such a shock and as cliche as it sounds, it really does help to know that she was able to help someone else. Otherwise, she would have just died with nothing good coming from it. My mom's funeral actually went surprisingly well.

My brother is having a baby boy in April and has decided on the name Colton. I just keep imagining the kid will look like Billie Dee Williams and I am going to call him '45'.

Hey Guys, I had posted the other day in "Guys Crying" about my mom having an aneurysm. Thank you for the good wishes you sent. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on our side. She died on Wednesday. Before things turned bad, we did have a few good days with her in the week that she was in the ICU and I made sure to kiss her and tell her that I loved her every time I saw her. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through and I really don't know how to deal with this. I just wanted to let you guys know so that you could just think some happy thoughts for my family. Especially my dad. She was his life. I'll be around once in a while but we have tonnes of stuff to take care of now and I still need to try and keep on top of my school work. Beth

I would still make out with Katherine Heigl. Yum. Crusader-i think code black refers to a bomb threat or bomb of any kind. I don't think it refers specifically to a body cavity! lol And, yeah, we can move the patient no problem but as soon as dude is walking out with the bomb...kaboom. That was so predictable. Meredith should be SERIOUSLY injured from that blast (and the way her head hit the floor) but she's okay? hmmmm I love the show but I think if this was season 4 or 5, that episode would be considered the "jump the shark" episode. But, since it's only season 2, it is labelled smart and fresh. Whatever.

Yeah, i was watching the cross country skiing yesterday when that happened. That is the epitome of class and sportsmanship. Hugs for the coach!

Okay, I really enjoy Grey's Anatomy but I didn't like that episode. Seriously, how would she get her hand in there without it being nudged and displaced and causing major issues? Plus, Meredith's character is WAY too tragic and whinny for her own good. I can't feel sorry for her at all. P.S.-Katherine Heigl is hot.
