The acoustic release of Near Fantastica was always up there on my list of top songs... I was hoping it would be on there. Neverthe less, The leas in to Apparitions was enough to make me happy for years to come, and Gen X wing & Prime Time deliverance being on there makes me more than just a little happy.

I match whatever the singer is doing, no matter what I am singing. If it's spoken word, I'm likely to mimic the tones in the speaking almost perfectly. I'm all about the audiographic memory. Perhaps my only talent.

Canadians vote in the lesser of two evils. We always have. Lame, but truth. And In my opinion, Although the government has robbed us blind.... I don't see a choice, because I'm afraid of Harper's platform. And above all, I refuse to vote for someone who is going to impose morals that I don't uphold. But the fear lies in voting anyone else but liberal, because I don't want to take the chance of Harper getting in, even if my conscience is clean about it. It's not a risk I want to take. No options. Same as everty other election.

I put on rooms this morning and I belted my heart out to it...... I sang like I do at the concerts.. Until I couldn't anymore. And upon talking with my roomate I realized that the part about that post that made me the saddest... Was the fact that he doesn't just listen to music to listen to music anymore. Having that happen to any music lover is a damned shame.

I live in the Lower Mainland, And I saw absolutely NO PR for this album at all. So I got up early on the day it was released and I took to the streets with chalk. But I think that the lack of advertising may have had something to do with it. And the urban legend that BEST OF albums ruin stuff. Plus, the influx of downloads is likely to hurt Canadian artists first.

For me.. Number one. Suburbia. Fine Art is in there... Vermillion... But all of the Beautiful Midnight album <3 Beautiful midnight indeed. *sigh*

I love Fine Art. It is one of my fave MG songs ever. But yah, that bootleg sucks for quality....

I was pretty happy when I read that as well. Fall tour again? Stifles my hopes of a good Plaza of Nations show. Meh.

I'm going to have to go with Advertising on Police Cars. such meaning in that song. It gives me goosebumps even after hearing it a million times. *shiver*

Least favourite. Hard question. I think I'm going to have to go with LotGA just because.. It was good for the time, but looking back.. Some great songs, but having been the first, it's just not as good IMO as the rest. Audio of Being is hard for me to listen to, but its not the music so much as the memories. Next I guess would be UnderDogs. But there's not an album I don't listen to, and all the way through at that.

I'm kind of glad that Matt's fan base is a quieter underground one.... As I said to a friend of mine (who was commenting on my avalanche hoodie) Matthew Good Fans ARE REALLY FANS OF MATTHEW GOOD. Most people that I know don't just sort of like him. It seems if you like him you really really like him. I'm just lucky that my boyfriend likes him; I'm allowed to keep my Avalanche Tour poster on the wall in the front entrance. ;) ROCK!

One of the reasons that I like Matt so much is because Live he sounds almost better than on the albums. His voice is just intense. That is a big deal for me; If I see someone live and they don't seem to care much and they don't sound like they're trying... it's not as worth it. When Matt's up there You can feel the musical passion. That to me is awesome.

I like the solo stuff......... To me it always seems like what he releases fits my life... It's so bizarre. Every Album has reached out at it's own time and grabbed ahold of my heart. I guess I'm just progressing along with him, so it's all good. All of it. ;)

Hmm..... Suburbia has always been my number one song. For whatever reason. I'm in love with Change of Season, Fated, Song for the girl, Advertising on Police Cars, and House of Smoke and Mirrors. I could go on.. I'm really big on his slow songs.
