The differences are subtle, but goo din their own little way. I do enjoy the Canadian versions of the songs when listening to the full album better, though I agree with Ben is a Sandwich that the individual songs were not harmed any with the "remixing".

I really liked crash. And next to what it was next to, I'd say it definitely should have won. But I don't really care either. ;)

^^ I don't think that many of his solo albums were marketed well... The last major CD release thing that went down was a middle of the night meet and greet for Audio Of Being. And I honestly don't think that that sort of thing is MG's cup of tea. But still... In the words of MG himself. The truth is not radio friendly espionage.

I was at the gas station scene filming in Hello Timebomb's music video. That gas station was across the street from the Co-op I grew up in.

I don't think his fan base has shrunk at all. Those of us who are big fans have always been and will remain big fans. But he's not so big that when he goes outside a crowd gathers. I would say the majority of people here know who he is.. And he still gets played on rock radio as much as he ever did... Well, maybe a bit less... But I ran into my aunt at a MG show last year, so.. He's appealing to all sorts of people.

If there had been no lockout, last year woulda been our year. Stupid unions. I didn't mean that. I love unions.

I think there are better ways to control animal population..... Thats all.

I met Danko when I was 16 at ACF and I think he's held a soft spot in my heart because of that. He gets up on stage and he's a rocker... but off stage he is quiet and really sweet. Or that was my impression at the time.

I like Crow. But times, they are a changin'. Something has got to give with this team.

*takes a bow* I don't know anything about his past romances, though at the Thursday, April 20/06 show in Vancouver there was some girl in the bathroom who told me that MG had fucked her and never called her again. What do you say to a person who discloses that in a venue bathroom?? I mean honestly. "Damn. Sucks to be fuck and chucked. Grab a brain. Good chat. See you out there..."

If you've been looking for a little bit of a hard rock album for summer, this new release from Danko Jones is awesome for rolling down the windows and starting a summer road trip. Or even just waking yourself up on the way to work.

I have ALWAYS hated the Pumpkins. If I must listen to them, I'll tolerate Meloncholy. Other than that... It makes me angry, and I listen to music to feel every emotion except anger.. Mostly. It makes me angry that someone so whiny could make it as a singer. The music is no doubt tight.. But Billy Corgan is just... awful. (IMHO)

I liked them more when they were strictly a Christian band. It's one thing if you go mainstream with something that stands up to your priciples like Matisyahu has.. But Switchfoot got quieter about their religious roots to make it. It brings up one word, flashing in lights in my brain. Need I mention the word? (Sellout)
