Anyone ever played Future Risk? To anyone who's never heard of it, it is the board game Risk (I know, I don't like it so much either) except it takes place in 2210. The map is modified for the "future" (continents shift slightly (way more than they should!) and nations change. Well, according to Future Risk, here's what happens in the next 205 years: Quebec takes over most of Ontario and becomes "Republique du Quebec" ( hahahahAHHAHAHAHAhahaHAHAHAHA) Ontario shifts over and splits from Canada. Canada is consisted of Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC, that's it ;) Western United States becomes a "Biosphere Reserve". New England and the mid-west remain the "United States", while Greenland becomes home to the "Exiled states of America" California dissapears into the sea. Tokyo expands... into the ocean. Russia becomes the "Enclave of the Bear" Man colonizes the moon, hehe Afghanistan takes over a lot of stuff. Asia is a complete mess.

why is this like a soap opera, when meanwhile the countless hours of mindless repetitive, hollywood style CNN coverage could be spent on... Darfour... CAFTA... etc.

NOT The dude in charge of the peace initiative to stop Hutus/Tutsis lived in MTL. He was a great man, good commander, but his job drove him crazy and depressed because there was so much possible to do, but so little they could do under the international law, and by the time they figured out what they could do, the genocide squads were always one step ahead. All talk, no action, and lately, no talk, no action. But it's a good foundation, one day it'll be great. Hopefully we won't need some giganormous human massacre/disaster to reach that, hopefully it'll be a slow progression of nations that are getting increasingly "1st world" and responsible, and less ignorant at the same time, banding together. IT BETTER BE! Oh well, frankly the environment is probably more important.

american news is so ironic. it's always focused on tiny little specific hollywood style affairs that have little relevance to the huge problems which can be shed light uppon with all the wasted airtime... why!?... WHY does that sell so well in the USA??? I don't understand it, but then again the only states I've been to are Vermont, Utah and Colorado... which aren't exactly mainstream states... some of their news is actually pretty cool (not central Colorado, I'm talkin Boulder baby!)

What bands are "emo" I assume it means, bands that produce songs that are overly emotional and cheesy with little substance... Is Taking back sunday, my chemical romance... emo? papa roach? does it have to be rock? does it have to be poppy? Is Broken Social Scene Emo? ;)

Anybody else a fan of Live? Throwing Copper, particularly, is quite awesome... Everyone has to hear White Discussion. I don't like the way it starts off, but from 1:00 - 5:00... it is a very powerful song.

why do people hog bootlegs? it's pretty easy to record a concert, I mean, it's not something you should be proud of/keep for yourself. you're recording a great concert, that people from far away can't attend. it's meant to be shared! thank you NF for putting up so much live stuff, we should all compile our live stuff I wish he would record a live concert, like the Tragically HIp did... live Weapon is 10 times better than album version looking forward to concert + new stuff!!! haven't even been to a Good concert since last year... Montreal missed a show 'cause he got sick ;) but it's okay

that song is really good, it should be in the album... replacing track 4 but that's just my opinion
