My dad had been given a copy Beautiful Midnight to listen to because Matt was going to be on a TV show he was working on, and he had to chose what MGB song should be on the show. He gave me the CD and told me to chose. I listened to the CD when I was lying on the beach in Mexico......... I never ever turned back. Still one of my top albums of all time!
It was just a shame that people felt the need to throw shit. I mean......a wrench is just rediculous! I don't blame Matt for being pissed. I'd be. And I completely forgot he made that "educated my ass" comment. That's hilarious!
I thought it was DISGUSTING and fucking disrespectful of all those drunken idiots to throw things at the band. What the hell??? A wrench?? That is just insane. I don't blame Matt for being pissed off. He has every right to be. I thought it was a pretty good show....couldn't really see too much...and to be honest...am ashamed to say the show is a bit fuzzy for me...but still thought matt and the rest rocked it out!
argh.......The Hip. Maybe it's just me, and it most likely is....but I JUST DON'T GET THEM! And by the way, I definitely watched the junos...hey I might be there one day, so I watch them as research.......and what the fuck was up with Gord? I for sure think he was on something. But what....not sure.
Looking forward to Arts County tomorrow!!! Also, Killers at the end of April is gonna be sweet. So far....the best has probably been....The Bravery and Ash. I don't know. They're kinda cool.
I really like the used, but to say they're america's Matt Good......is.....just strange. I've never heard matt scream the way Bert does. I think they're pretty different.
ACTUALLY, The Strokes are from the US. They rock the hizzous though. As for brit bands.....yeah, i like the older ones a bit more than the new ones. I still rely greatly on Britain to provide me with good music.
