I like Keane a lot. I saw them here in Vancouver last year and they were really fantastic live. Tim the singer has got a pretty good voice and he pulls it off live. OBViously they aren't The Beatles, but they're still pretty good. As for their latest album.....not too impressed. I like their 1st two quite a bit though.

Running For Home. That would be awesome. But truely my dream came true last november when he played Suburbia. I almost DIED it was so good!!!!!

Anyone have this album yet? I got it yesterday. It's pretty good, but Strokes albums usually take me a few listens to get addicted. Matt apparently loves this album...so he wrote on his blog. Just curious what others think of it... *EDIT* sorry...didn't see the other post on this EXACT thing....ignore this post.

One album that sticks out for me is Aha Shake Heartbreak by Kings of Leon...damn good album.

Amusement Parks on Fire

I love that cover...I totally thought no one had ever heard it before..but I'm glad people are now hearing it. It's so simple...but that's why I love it. And John Mayer is a fantastic musician. Most people don't know that, but it's VERY true!

Hendrix is for sure my idol and the greateset guitarist ever...but I do like the Doors. I mean, not my fave, but they have some great songs. Plus.....I must say....I have extreme crush on Jim......yes, i know he is not alive, but doesn't mean I can't love him!

the two shows are on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not sure if Matt will be on both...but I'm getting tix for sure!

He only played 3 more songs than at our Friday show. And he didn't play Tripoli or The Rat who would be king at the other show. I think i am lucky to of seen the show I did! Nothing could ever top it!

yes...I definitely recall hearing those songs...BUT....he played It's Been a While Since I was Your Man?? I completely missed that...and I was right up front too....hmm. That part of my brain got erased I guess. I love that song too....damn.

I was just going to ask if anyone recalled the setlist or anything. I am trying to piece it together. I think I know all the songs he played.....but not the order. Tried to grab the setlist after the show but apparently you're "not allowed to touch anything beind the baracades".....

Tonight I saw matt at the Commodore. I cannot even describe how amazing it was. It was THE best show I have ever seen...EVER.....and truely...i have seen A LOT of concerts. Suburbia made my life. I have been waiting since Beautiful Midnight came out to hear that song live...and tonight was the night. He played some great songs and when he finished with Prime Time Deliverance acoustic......I could have died it was so good. Anyone else go? And what did you think?

Holy fucker! I've been in that studio!!! I didn't even know Matt had recorded there. Thank you.....that made my life!

21rst Century Living was pretty awesome as an opener. I REALLY likes Near Fantastica too though. Giant is always a good opener....especially at arts county. when I heard the cheers of "k-i-c-k-a-s-s" i almost peed myself and ran full speed towards the stage...ahh...good times!
