the acoustic version SUCKED oh man, so bad.

so any thoughts on this topic? "to what extent should the government restrict the freedoms and liberties of citizents in the name of national security?" any ideas anyone?

the scariest part was....the price of popcorn! seriously though, I didn't see. Oh and adding "based on a true story" is just to add excitment, it's "based" that means nothing, everyone knows that.

New Harry Potter Goblet Of Fire Trailer
Instant-Karma replied to Crusader's topic in The Silver Screen
thats the most retarded thing I've ever heard. "dah, movies should be long boring and EXACTLY like the books" because that will work and be entertaing(/sarcasm)....Seriously, messing with the story so it slows better is a bad idea? of course they are going to do that. What did you expect? A 4 hour movie of Harry narrating his every though? common... -
am I the only one who thought it sucked and didn't fit the song?

Casual walks should have been waaaay higher and middle class gangsters should have been last. Radiobomb should be #1 ;)

Jr was the guy with matt in the anti-pop video, he's also a big fan
-
rooms sucked, all the songs sounded the same, it was all slowed down and atmospheric with matt holding the notes for like 30 seconds. I wanted to hear some faster acoustic stuff, oh well. Advertising on police cars kicks ass though
-
that video sucked, it was like watching a shitty late night teletoon show

I'll be there, 2nd mac hall performance for me, 4rth in total (lethbridge, stampede, mac hall) woo woo

Radiohead - I Want None Of This.
Instant-Karma replied to Scot's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Radiohead is in the studio, when I heard that I peed my pants -
It is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Everything about it I felt was top notch, the acting, directing, dialogue. I would definatly recommend it. Russel Crowe is amazing.

ep 1-3 were all major disapointments.

Weezer
Instant-Karma replied to Dan #3's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
I loved the last song on the alblum. Haunt I think its called. I also like how they've added a lot of piano to their songs. Overall it wasn't as good as pinkerton or the blue alblum I still enjoyed it. =w= -

I hate much music so much. I hate everything about it and the MMVAs is much at its worst. -
AOB kind of sucked compared to BM BM was good but top 5, I dunno. Probaly top 10 though

I figure the street sounds will be like what is at the beginning of "alert status red"

Weezer

....you going to the party after the show...yeah man, so stoked... -
its a safe bet that matt can play any instrument that is played in his band. Once you're in a band its pretty easy to pick up the other instruments.

one time at the calgary stampede the PA cut out during apparations but the crowd and matt continued to sing untill it got fixed.

How Would One Talk To Matt After A Concert?
Instant-Karma replied to juniorspank's topic in Matthew Good
I saw him at the calgary stampede one year and then actually met him afterward. I think he was just walking around, or was in this backstage area. I complemented his hat. -
Loser Anthems Promo.. Not To Brag Or Anything
Instant-Karma replied to walrus's topic in Matthew Good
you better go out and buy your friend the biggest fattest steak you can afford. you are one lucky bastard -
wow, good question. I think somedays I can't listen to anything but matt and other days theres other bands I feel the same way about. Im really into weezer, bad religion and led zeppelin to though. It kinda alternates between those bands. Oh, actually...the beatles are my number one, easily. Its a constant battle for number two though. Definate advantages for matt is that I"ve like him for so long differen't songs/alblums remind me of differen't memories and I've seen him like like half a dozen times.
-
I heard that he wore the mask because he didn't want people to associate his face with the band.
