I guess I'm late to the party, but I'd like to know as well. Google tells me nothing! -
Agreed on both, by far. Also, Near Fantastica, Champions, and Avalanche. The same could be said for a lot of his material. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I think he puts too much, I don't know if it's the right word, but.. thought into the final product. But the live versions for most of his work have that extra emotion and improvisation that make them that much better.

I hope she breaks his heart and gets with me.. ahem... I recently watched Monsters vs Aliens in 3D, good times, pretty funny. Finally watched The Wrestler and really dug it. The fact that I'm a long time wrestling fan may have helped that along though. I lent my copy out after only watching it once and really want it back.

Y'all are crazy.

"Allllrighty then!" will never go out of style, that's all I'm sayin'.
-
I'm hoping it's just what they want us to think. The show needs at least ONE couple making it.
-
There's plenty, you're just ignoring it.. and I'm done.

Crash. There were some good scenes, but overall, big thumbs down considering the hype.
-
And now they have an endpoint. No more meandering (as was the case for a lot of season 3), just back to business.

The 'explosions' were the sound of the floors collapsing down on one another. And if no plane crashed in Pennsylvania, and no plane crashed into the pentagon, where did the planes, and people on them go? And the 'pull' was referring the pulling the firefighters out of building 7. Eyewitnesses to the plane hitting the pentagon: http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/...ewitnesses.html and also.. this.

aaand season 5 has begun. So much information to process already.

Even his character in the show was somewhat of a celebrity, which helps with the chicks. Plus he was funny and had charisma and whatnot, no matter his looks. As for the thread, I can't say I know what the best show ever is, but my favourites of all time include Lost, Seinfeld. The Wonder Years, Cosby show, among many others.

What Did You Last Watch On Tv?
Seanathon replied to Shiri's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
my lack of specialty channels forces me to wait for this to come out on DVD. I hope it's still as great as I remember. Oh yeah, and I watched the Leafs suck. -
pfft. Gingers forever! Also, The Lives of Others. I hate reading subtitles but this was a pretty good little movie (not that Oscars mean much these days but it did win for best foreign)
-
Apocalypse Now. I think it was the first time I watched the whole thing.
-
Do it! Because it was a shortened season, it takes no time at all to fly through it. http://www.ajiraairways.com/

Rescue Dawn. Bale is awesome as usual. Decent little movie.
-
Trailer! for real this time.
-
Bump for trailer. I don't care how shitty (or not) this may end up being, I need to see this.

I agree with you on the seniority thing. And I also understand why they're asking for the 3.5% raises, it's just hard for your everyday worker, who chances are, rides the bus to work, to accept. Especially when they're already making $25-$30+ an hour, as they do where I live. I'm not sure I have a point here, but the debate has come up about making them an essential service, so that they can't completely shut down while striking and cripple the city.
-
How was it? I've been considering a rental and/or purchase

Season 3 meanders a bit, but, unless it's been spoiled for you, the ending is great.

I've gotten 3 of my coworkers hooked on Lost in the past few months and lent them the first 3 seasons. Now when season 4 comes out on Tuesday we're having a little get-together. None of them have seen it on tv, so I'm sadly very excited to watch it with them. Lost brings out my nerdy side to the extreme.
