Isn't there also the agreement that the program won't be used to make nuclear weapons?

Eh. It's supposed to be the iTunes licensing agreement but I didn't se it.

But they make it sound as though they might actually be responsible for, say, war, or fluctuations in air conditioner.

Nah. I had heard about the biological/chemical weapons thing from Maddox so I decided to check it out myself. It must have been a different version of iTunes or Maddox just made it up.
