perreault is a good pick-up, but ferguson is just playing safe. he's probably not even allowed to make trades, I bet he has to ask richard peddie first.

the smyth trade was actually a good one. edmonton got o'marra, robert nilsson, AND a first round draft pick. smyth is unrestricted FA in the summer, so watch them get him back. I haven't the islanders make a good deal since , before I was born

st louis just freakin loaded up on draft pick like crazy. more than they should have gotten for a few rental players in the twilight of their careers. it is sad to see smyth go though. but zubrus comin to buffalo is solid!. to bad he wont play tonight as the Rochester Amerks...umm i mean Buffalo Sabres take on the Leafs.
