So I picked up their album and I have to say that I love it....more than blink albums and i like blink a lot....this record was a real pleasant surprise....anyone else feel the same way??

Blink is a semi-guilty pleasure for me. I own Dude Ranch and Enema of the State, and rather enjoy them both.

I've only heard the +44 single, which is rather catchy, so I've considered picking up the album, but I'll probably have to hear something else before I do.

Whenever I hear their songs I think of how Mark can't write vocal melodies. To me they sound akward and its seems like he doesn't know what notes he wants to hit when he's singing.

 

Tom was the 'talented' one of the band. Angels and Airwaves is better.

I didn't like Angels and Airwaves. I thought it was lacking in someways, just the songs didn't reach that point where they should have. It was just missing something. I think the same for +44 only I like their songs better...

 

Mark, Tom and Travis need each other, they just don't work the same without atleast one of them

At least Angels and Airwaves was trying out a different sound. I feel like +44 is just a Blink rip-off.

I always felt that Tom was the weak link in blink...but I guess its all personal preference...I did not like A&A though....the lyrics were pretty shit to me....

 

+44 does feel a lot more like blink but if it works for them then they may as well stick with what they are strong at

i've only heard that one single by them. if you played it for me, without me knowing who it was first, and told me it was blink, i would believe you.
