Fair To Midland

Three cups of coffee later... ya, I'm really bad at describing why I don't like things. And comparing them to other bands isn't the way I should do it... Fair To Midland isn't horrible. I liked A Seafarer's Knot, Orphan Anthem '86, and The Walls of Jericho. But most of the songs just didn't keep me interested that much.

you don't have to apologize for not liking them. it's totally fine if you don't like them, i just think that saying they sound like muse or the mars volta is a poor explanation of why when all that's really necessary is 'i don't like them'. it sounded like you were just trying to pull up some obvious bullshit excuse for why because you thought you needed one, when you don't.

finally remembered to download a real copy of their new album. they fixed the only thing i didn't like about them! the 'blankets on the amplifiers' thing is gone on the distorted guitar parts, so i can thoroughly enjoy them now ;)
