Well, we've lost alot of good people this year, James Brown, President Ford and now Saddam. I'll just be happy when 2007 comes along and this sad train of death stops.

yeah, i am going to miss james brown, and so for President Ford, he was a cool ass pres, well according to the simpsons.

Hmm.. yes, the death of a brutal tyrant is always good news.

 

I won't get too harpy but it annoy's me that people who supported this jackass and gave him the chem weapons to use on his own people, and then continued to support this guy after the atrocities dont get any flack. It's of course because they are the victors, and Saddam was an "enemy of freedom", and when too many enemies of freedom get together, including most U.S. presidents, somebody has to die, this week it was Saddam, maybe in a month from now they'll find Bin Laden. Pfft. Not bloody likely, if he isn't already dead. But I digress, another one bites the dust it seems, or is it sand? lol

That's the point. Alot of people are going to say that the people who took him down are the same ones who put him there, that they're all bad guys, etc.

 

But nobody's really saying he didn't deserve it anyway.

why do you sound so surprised?

because it seems that they sneeked the death in, there wasnt really an appeal process to it. it just all of a sudden happened.

I always thought they'd actually announce a day on which he'd be killed, but I suppose that might be asking for trouble.

 

Anyways, I've seen a cellphone video of it, weird.

watching the video of when they put the noose around his neck (which they've been playing non-stop of 'headline news') its funny, cause he has the look of, "okay guys, funny joke, am I being punk'd?"

and now i ask this,

 

is the death of 3000 soldiers and countless Iraqis an adequate loss for the execution of a single man, who was hung for the murder of 183 people himself?
