There was a new girl in my class

She was from far away I guess

Girls are gross all my friends agree

And she was no different and she would see

that I would make her miserable

and wish we'd never met

and she'd go back where she's from

and wish she'd never left

 

So I went ahead with my plan

to make her hate me and my friends

we tried everything we knew

attached her ponytails with glue

hit her with a spitball twice

chased her home from school

stole her brand new science book

and pushed her in the pool

 

A month went by and I tried my best

to make her mad but she just laughed

this sounds crazy but I swear

the more I did the more she'd stare

 

the more she looks the more I realized

she had the most big beautiful blue eyes

what was that I just said out loud?

Could this really be?

What will my friends say when they see

that I liked a girl and she might like me?

 

There was only one week left of school

and I had to quit trying to be so cool

So I walked up to her and I asked

if I could carry her books to class

She just stopped and stared at me

with those big blue eyes

she said something I'd never forget

she said I'd rather die
