For anyone who hasn't seen it, you should, i found it excellent.

But I am also interested in politics, and if thats not your bag maybe you won't like it as much.

It's about South Africa in the 1980's under apartide.

I've heard critics say It's like a South African "City of God". Is it really that good, because I'm not sure if I want to see it?

I have never seen City of God so i am not sure. It's the story of this guy Patrick who was involved in the ANC, and an ANC sabotage mission. But yah it has a lot to do with his life and the political situation at the time, it has shades of what is happening today with "terrorists" so it's really timely. I'm not sure what more to say without giving too much away but if your unsure id go with renting it later.

I'll probably wait for it's DVD release, but I would suggest renting City of God. It's really good.

City of God was amazing.

I really wanted to see Catch a Fire, but life got in the way, and it only played in my town for 1 week!

No worries, it will be coming out on DVD in three weeks. I didn't get to see it in the theaters either so i'm looking forward to it.
