Prometheon Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Tempting, but 850 is a lot, and I don't live in Vanouver. It does sound nice though, and the fact that it's two bedroom virtually assures that you'll find a buyer, though probably not on the bored.
RicardoObviouso Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 850 isnt a lot when you factor in your only other bill will be cell phone. also, find a roomie. then BAM! $425

dancing_invisible Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 If I wasn't in such a loser predicament, I'd look into it with my friend Jeff. Sounds pretty cool for fully furnished.
RicardoObviouso Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 oh, of his loft? its sweet, eh? the funny thing is, i looked at that EXACT loft like 2 months ago, right before i bought mine. he's paying out of his ass to live there but its well worth it, especially when they finish stepping up the waterfront/gastown image.
Shiri Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Yeah, it looks like a great same from the pictures. I always wanted to live in a loft.
RicardoObviouso Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 (edited) everyone in vancouver does these days, luckily i got mine in a liquidation but the one across from me is going for $489,000 and its only 840 sq. ft. (mine is almost 50% bigger, but priced lower). mind you they're all zoned for commercial/residential and they're from a well known architect, so the artsy loft/yuppy types are willing to pay more. Ravenous megin-sane Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 wow, that's actually an amazing deal. if someone wants to go with me, i'll do it.
RicardoObviouso Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 (edited) so in which room should i install the night vision camera system? Edited November 1, 2006 by hot_carl
dancing_invisible Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Goddamn... If I wasn't in a bad situation right now I'd could really look into this. Sounds like a sweet deal and I know I have friends who would want to split it with me.
heyrabbit Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 sounds like too sweet a deal. he must have two-way mirrors in every bathroom, or something
Shiri Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Haha, yeah you know what they say, if it's too good to be true...
Some Random Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 that would be a pimp deal in dartmouth/halifax, so i know that's a sweet deal for vancouver.
Jarrod Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Geez. For this dump in Victoria I pay half the rent which is $390 + 1/2 utilities. So, this place is about $790 (which is going up, but I don't care cuz I'm leaving) and it's not in a great area of town and it's a dump...
RicardoObviouso Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 most people are in it to either make extra money or pay off their mortgage, i'm not... and it's reflected in the price. either way, the place is rented from today until jan 1. i'll be looking for someone from jan 1 - april 1. then to redo a lease agreement without furnishings.
Ravenous megin-sane Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 so in which room should i install the night vision camera system? mine, the bigger of the two.
inescapableus Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Man I pay $910 for a 2 bdrm in downtown Victoria non furnished.. thats good deal for fully furnished.
