so what does everyone use? i have a hunch that there is a higher percentage of mac users here than typical for some reason. i'm using kubuntu myself. started using linux cuz when i built my computer last year (had my brother build it) i didn't want to shell out money for windows. it's also kinda nice not having to worry about viruses (much) or spyware.

I use Mac OS X but I'm going to have to go back to Windows because I'm going to have to buy a laptop and Mac laptops are too expensive for me right now.

i uses window XP, and i have used a lot of other ones for my program at school (windows 2000, XP, server 2003, NT, Novell, Linux Red Hat 7, Linux Fedora Core 3 and 5 (which i hate!)) but kudos on using kubuntu.

I'm running one of them new Macbooks and I like it just fine. I don't know a whole lot about the inner workings of a computer, so all I care about is that the computer runs, is well-designed for my needs as a student who likes to browse the internet during physics lectures, is lightweight, is cool in general, AND THAT IT WORKS. And this is working out just fine for me.

I boot both Win XP Home (for gaming), and Ubuntu, though I'm thinking of switching to Agnula, once I get the hang of this Linux thing (which isn't really that hard).

I'm a Mac OS X/Linux guy but given that I don't own a Mac nor do I have the money to own a Mac and since Linux is a pain in the ass when it comes to medias (wmv's and whatnow) I have Windows...but I hate it...it's only a matter of resignation

the logos had a subliminal effect on me (thus the 'hunch'). though 27 percent is probably higher than the general public. i imagine if every member voted it would be overwhelmingly windows (the path of least resistance:) )

Actually, I don't mind Windows XP. I just had a shitty computer and downloaded too much porn, but meh, whatever. I like this beast. It's good nad I've had no problems with it.
