I watched this a couple nights ago and have to say that I was quite taken.

 

I'd recommend it to anyone who likes comedies that are a little left-of-centre... kind of reminded me a bit of The Big Lebowski.

I plan to rent it. it came out on a weekend where there were 4 new movies in theatres I wanted to see... so I prioritized.

In my mind Steve Carell plus Greg Kinnear means only one thing; hilarious and great acting. As I type I realise that's actually two things, but, whatever.

Olive is such an easy character to identify with, and you cn't help but love her.

On the contrary. Annoying as hell. And the rest of the kids freaked me right out. Ugh.

 

But the other characters, classic.

I saw it last Friday and I expected something else: for me it was the typical movie you can watch a Sunday, after lunch, laying on the couch before you take a lil nap...

 

not a good movie, in my opinion
