I just saw Miami Vice, the movie, and it sucked. I think I might have lost hope in Mann.

With the vast amounts of Jamie Foxx I heard were going to be in there (about 80 percent of the movie I think) I can't see how anything could think it good.

I saw it today free... and dammit it was good. The Foxx reports were wrong, it was mostly Colin's character and it was intense as hell, I loved it.

I wish the DVD sets were cheaper. I've seen the pilot, and love it. But I missed my chance to get the bundle for $35, so it's either $60 new, or take my chances on ebay. I'm amazed at just how well the pilot stands up to time - and nothing tops the "In the Air Tonight" scene.
