Psh, pansies. That's the best thing about magic; no matter how good someone's deck is, it's always got it's weak points and can be beaten. Pyroclasm owns most elf decks, Disenchant could stop the Crossroads, etc.

Yeah, exactly. I mean, Skullclamp sorta pisses me off sometimes, just because almost EVERY friggin creature deck ever is better with 4 of them in it, but whatever. I can live with it.

Same with Dark Ritual, but I mean... Suck it up. There's always a weekpoint.

 

It pisses me off when people stack their decks against me. As in anti-white vs my Angels. Hmph. They figure it'll help them I guess?

My step dad is who got me into it, but now he never plays with me anymore, cuz he thinks that the cards have gotten 'too good' since the new card frame. He refuses to buy any more cards or listen to any deckbuilding advice or anything. It's rather annoying.

I've never taken deck building advice, I had to learn the hard way with a starter soldier deck.

 

And the people I play want to make a house rule not to play with any cards post 8th edition! Like... What kinda shit is that? Woops owned you, must be these cards from A NEW SET ZOMG!

 

I generally don't use to many cards above Mirroden black anyhow, I stopped buying, I only trade.

Yeah, Mirrodin was a bad block to intriduce the new frame, cuz it was all technological, and so people though Magic was selling out. But kamigawa and Ravnica had such super-sweet fantasy flavor.

I didn't like the asian set that much, but Ravnica seems pretty cool.

 

I pretty much stopped paying attention to Magic after the first installation of the Kamigawa set, but I recently checked out Ravnica, and it seemed pretty cool.

Yeah, Ravnica is great. And an amazing block to draft with, if you're into Limited.

 

Plus, who doesn't love multicolor?

Yeah really. One of my first decks was a multi-color tribal wizard, before 8th came out.

 

I haven't drafted in a long time. I'm not the greatest at them. Last one I came second. It was a Mirroden draft. Damn asshole got lucky with the Swords of Fire&Ice/Light&Shadow and double strike flyers. Bastard.

 

Green/White and Blue/Black are my favorites.

i collected hockey cards and lego when i was younger, still have the hockey cards. never got into pogo's, tried once, didnt like it. as for magic cards, last time i saw someone with them, it was last year in college, where they played every single day. And saddly, our computer store at my college sells them.
