Early Career Predictions?

Just wondered if this scenario had actually happened to anyone in life

 

{Examples}

 

1) You always threw Stones at people at school .... now you are a Rock Climbing Instructor.

 

2) You were always the first to jump in the water on holiday as a kid .... now you are a Swimming Teacher.

 

3) You always played with/examined your food as a kid in a fussy way .... now you are a nutritionist.

 

 

Myself? Whenever there was nothing interesting to watch on tv as a kid, I would watch commercials.

 

Now I am an college graduate with a degree in Advertising.

 

 

Anyone else?

As a child I would always try to measure the proper distances and asmyths of the playground. Now Im a land surveyor.

I played/built Lego all the time as a kid... even won a couple big contests.

Now I will be going to college for a couple of related programs for designing and building machines and robots of many varieties. They're fairly related.

I always liked reading and studying history. I graduated university with a computer science degree. So no, this theory doesn't apply to me.

I took electronics apart as, now I'm an electrical engineer (student).

I liked playing sports but instead of going to the NHL i'm going to study criminology and public policy, weird how that works out.

nothing i did as a kid explains anything about what career i want... weird.

I was always a weird kid and would try to predict people's actions while analyzing how stupid they were. This was mianly because they wouldn't be my friends so, in my mind, there must be SOMETHING wrong with them.

 

Now I'm in the Psychology program at UofT.

I took dance for most of my childhood. Now I teach cause I'm old and can't dance.

I'm past my expiry date as a ballerina (20).

When I was a kid (read: grade 1) I wanted to be a chemist. Everyone agreed that I would make a great scientist.

 

I am going to London next year to pursure a bachelor of science with a major in chem, and hopefully after a year transfer into a bachelor science pharmacy program somewhere in the country.
