Haha I love FSM, it's so clever and irreverent. Makes some excellent points concerning creationism, as you mentioned.

The hate mail is fantastic, too.

"Please watch what you say, your blasphemy is pleasing the devil. Do you really want to spend eternity in hell where there will be weeping and knashing of teeth? The devil is using you as his vessel to mock the Truth so that you may discourage people from believing in it in order for that you and others may be eternally damned.

Whee!

Religion is such a crock. Particularly Christianity, as they (at least the ones i've met) take it waaaaay more seriously than anyone else.

Funny...All the religious people I know only act religious when it suits their needs. Yep...that's religion workin' for you.

Indeed. I've been planning to get one of the FSM chrome emblems (a la jesus fish) about as soon as I get a car...

One group on NF will randomlly be converted into scientologists.

I should get my own Awesomeology group.

BREAKING NEWS!

The Church of Awesomeology has just merged with the Church of Miyagi, and by a unanimous vote the name will remain Awesomeology.
