Songs That Resemble One Another

There one part (a few bars really), of the main theme to the lion king(the one that always plays in the background, at the end fight seen) that are almost identical to one part in a song from SW episod III.

 

I can't really explain it...

unfortunately there are only so many different chord patterns out there. plus, we're in an era of recycling now... I'll hear the back beat of "sweet dreams" or some other famous old song and then I'll hear a rapper come in over top of it.

 

There are some classics that shouldn't be recycled.

i really can't hear the similarity between 'Pieces' and 'The Scientist'

 

Rat who would be king is pretty much the exact same song as changes by tupac.

"rebellion (lies)" by the arcade fire seems to sound very similar to "that's entertainment" by the jam... specifically the music. the vocals dont resemble one another at all.
