Fears

Spiders, death, public speaking, flying etc. What scares you?

For me, I have a big fear of getting lost, drowning (I almost drowned when I was younger) and getting old/going crazy.

I have an irrational fear of bees. I can't explain it.

Rejection.

And I'm not to fond of heights either, which is weird because I love flying.

it's ok, sean. i have an irrational fear of horses.

other than that, i'm terrified of tornados and convinced that everything in this house is a fire hazard. bad enough that i am constantly thinking about buying fireproof safes for my shit.

i'm afraid of heights and the possibility that I could have some kind of heart defect I don't know about and I could just drop dead at any minute. Also public speaking, actually just speaking in general.

I have a friend who's afraid of bees. Like deathly afraid. And he's one of the biggest guys I know. He's at least 6'3'', and weighs a ton, but he sees a bee and he literally screams and runs away.

You can even mess with him. I remember one time we were at a restaurant, and I said 'Rob, there's a bee behind you.' He jumped out of his seat and nearly knocked the friggin table over.

Knives and other sharp objects. When I was about 13 or 14, my friends found out about this fear and proceeded to chase me around the house with knives until I locked myself in my friend's bedroom and refused to come out until all the knives were put away.

Wires. (Just watch the God-awful movie Ghost Ship and you'll understand why.)

The future.

Dying alone.

Yeah... I saw that. Quite clever, actually.

Every time I go down stairs I have an intense fear that I'm going to trip and fall on my face. This feeling continues all the way down the stairs (while I’m death gripping the railing trying to look like I’m not death gripping the railing) until I reach the bottom then the feeling immediately dissipates and I forget about it until the next time I have to walk down stairs.

This is odd considering I do not have a fear of Heights.
