Possible Songs

I have been thinking what songs Matt could play on the Tour. Ovioulsy, all the rooms songs, but what else. On his blog he says he will play So Long Mrs Smith. Ive been listing to other songs and thinking if he could pull it off, and there are many. But then again, I wouldnt have said he would do Hello Time Bomb and he did that in rooms. I am really hoping for Avalanche as it is one of my favourites and he didnt play it last time in London. What other songs would you guys like to hear?

OMFG I MIss New Wave, to be sure. I think he could tear apart Failing the Rorshack Test, as well. Let's here him just pound the strings. I hope he get's sloppy.

 

I'm floored that he's playing my school, Sheridan, in Oakville ON. I've myself in turn performed and hosted a monthly open mic in the same room he'll be performing in (our Pub/'Recreation Centre'), so the experience will be that much more intimate. Matt's music was one of the reasons I picked up guitar, and definitely a huge inspiration to writing music as a means of working through anxiety, in order to function a little more adequately from day to day.

Anyhoo, we're in for quite a treat this spring.

I don't think that Fine Art of Falling Apart will be played, the vocals would be very hard to recreate. Personally, I would love if it was played though. Also, it would be interesting to hear In A World Called Catastrophe. I wonder if Weapon is possible.

ya, thats an amazing list...i've never been to an accoustic concert before, so i dont really know how it would open, it wouldnt have the same kind of energy that his regular shows would have, should be interesting.

It's a pretty sweet list, but I just don't see certain songs being played acoustically by one person. 'Avalanche' is the one that comes to mind. I'm sure it could be done but it would sound pretty different from what we're used to hearing.
