So what if you like what you like. At least you're honest about it. People that say you have bad taste in music, probably just have different tastes than you. I too got The 'Elitist' (81% Appreciator and 44% Consumer) but I can't say that this was a very good test. I had big problems with question #3....

 

Pick the artist/band that best (or closest) describes your overall 'lifelong' music taste:

- Ashlee Simpson

- John Williams

- The Killers

- Led Zepplin

 

Personally, I can't stand any of these artists/bands. I had to pick Led Zepplin, despite the fact that I consider them to be highly overrated (though I do own a copy of Led Zepplin IV). All in all, those are some pretty poor options to choose from.

i can see how led zeppelin is over rated... ALTHOUGH i love them to death....

 

BUT i cant see how jimmy page could be over rated... that guy was a musical genius!! you could put him into a recording studio and he would rip a solo as easy as swearing!

 

He could also play millions of instruments and styles and he produced the shit out of their music and did a good job of it!!!

I'm not saying Led Zeppelin weren't talented, I'm just saying that they're overrated. Most people who are into Zeppelin are just way too into Zeppelin. It's not like Jimmy Page was Jesus or anything.

Jimmy Paige wasn't as versatile as you make him out to be. He was always grounded in the blues. Always.
