Grace by Jeff Buckley is one of my all time favorite albums. Not exactly the same style as Matt Good, but I had a hunch that a lot of MG fans like Jeff Buckley too... I am wrong?

God yes, Grace is more than likely my favourite album of 1994. Sketches For My Sweetheart, The Drunk had so much fucking potential it wasn't even funny. The recordings for Disc 1 were supposedly going to be scrapped because of his perfectionist ways which is hard to believe after hearing the quality. Disc 2 were mostly demos from his house and wow, he really had something magical up his sleeve. Mystery White Boy is an excellent representation on how brilliant of a performer he was.

 

Highly recommended.

i own grace, its pretty good. don't listen to it often though.

A truley fantastic artist and album, shame that he is dead. Last Goodbye and Lover you should have come over are my favorites, and his rendition of Hallelujah is spectacular, im sure leonard cohen is proud
