I'd have to go with either The Rat Who Would Be King, Umbrellaless, or Truffle Pigs. Off the top of my head, those three really stand up and shine.

I'm going to have to say The Fine Art of Falling Apart, with Flight Recorder From Viking 7 making a close second.

I'm just so horribly hypnotized by those songs.

WOW, there is no one song I'd say

let's go...

the rat who would be king

life beyond the minimum safe distance

avalanche

the workers sing a song of mass production

while we were hunting rabbits

the fine art of falling apart

all together

There's a lot of good ones out there, but my favorites are Running for Home and The Rat Who Would be King.

Tripoli from rooms.

"Where has by head gone?

Where do you hole up to mutilate the day away from me?"

It's chilling.

if you sing the lyrics you just wrote, you sound congested

That's a tough question b/c he is sooo strong vocally in so many songs.

as an overall song though, i'd have to pick weapon. that song just oozes emotion through his voice - "Never turn your back on it, never turn your back on it, again"
